My contact Tony was the best - explained everything like what work I needed, how long it would take, would arrange a ride if I'd wanted it, COVID procedures, etc. I don't remember who I worked with in the cashier's office, but I was inquiring about the Ford credit card - she was very helpful and walked me through it quick and easy. How long does it take to find/repair an oil leak? I purchased a 2020 Ford Explorer in August of 2019. In June of 2020 I took a road trip to see family. When I returned I noticed a huge volume of oil o I purchased a 2020 Ford Explorer in August of 2019. In June of 2020 I took a road trip to see family. When I returned I noticed a huge volume of oil on the garage floor. I contacted Bill Collins and explained my problem and was told they were excepting appointments in two weeks. I showed up for my appointment and left my car. I was told that I would receive a phone call in a day or two. After three days of silence I called Bill Collins and asked how my car was. I was told they couldn't find the leak. They recommended I pick up the car and drive over the weekend and come back. I set another appointment for the following week. The morning of the appointment Bill Collins called me to say that they were down a mechanic and couldn't see my car this week. I made another appointment for the following week. I was able to video where my car was leaking and showed the Service Adviser the video when i dropped off my car. I was told that I would receive a phone call in a day or two. The morning of the third day I went to Bill Collins and asked for the Service Manager. I saw him and explained my problem. He asked to see the video. He asked if I had shown this to the Service Adviser, I said yes. He said this was unacceptable and would expedite my repair. I recieved a phone call early in the afternoon that my car was repaired. Bill Collins had my car for 8 days over 3 weeks to perform a warranty repair. More

Service tech caught running personal errand in my car! The time between when I dopped off the car for service and the time they started working on it was almost 5 days. Also, my dash cam caught the service technician taking my car out for a personal errand. He went through a drive thru at a liquor store to buy cigarettes. He didn't wear a mask or gloves and had a very heavy cough the whole time he was in my car. The audio captured by the dash cam caught him rummaging through my door pocket, center console bin and glove box! I feel like this put me at significant risk of contracting Covid-19 and is also in violation of my privacy. I brought this to the attention of the Service Manager, but still feel that others should know what goes on when nobody is looking. Also, my service advisor wouldn't return my calls as promised. I had to call them constantly to figure out what was going on. Also, they told me they didn't know how to update my SYNC software which is something Ford told me that any dealership can perform. I ended up doing it myself when I got home. More
