When he called the sales manager to talk to me, he gave him the wrong information and the sales manager attitude was flat out insulting. There are many other BMW dealerships. I normally don't write reviews on anything I have purchased but the purchase experience I had and the condition of the vehicle I purchased were phenomenal and need to be told. Ron Puri deserves an outstanding recognition for his professionalism and honesty from the beginning to the final sale process I always envision buying car as a big hassle, stressful, downright waste of many hours in the dealership negotiating with the price trying not to be on the short end of the stick. With Ron, I never felt those annoying and dreadful experiences. The condition of the vehicle inside and out was pristine as he described on the phone, nothing more, nothing less. Once honesty and sincerity to sell an excellent car, not just to sell car was established, it was smooth sailing from thereon. I am an experienced car buyer and I can toe-to-toe with a salesman so the price I offered based on my research for that particular car was agreed to with Ron without much the usual drama of wheeling and dealing and I know both of us were getting the right deal. I just purchased a brand new car three months ago through Truecar.com because of its much advertised hassle free purchasing experience. With Ron, it was a smoother car buying experience than Truecar.com. Ron is the epitome of a person that you can trust and wants to give his customer the best deal he can possibly offer. Excellent Service ... BMW needs help on Ordering Process I recently received a custom ordered BMW x3 from Center BMW in Sherman Oaks, CA. The service that I received at Center BMW, and from Al Herbst specifi I recently received a custom ordered BMW x3 from Center BMW in Sherman Oaks, CA. The service that I received at Center BMW, and from Al Herbst specifically, was fantastic. Al walked me through their inventory so that we could see all of the options in person and select exactly the vehicle that we wanted. Then he gave me a great price on the custom ordered vehicle. The only challenge that I had was with the timing and communication during the ordering process. We seemed to hit BMW in the middle of the switch from building 2014 to building 2015 models, and so it took a total of 5 months to receive my new car. During this time, it was difficult to gauge when the car would arrive and exactly where the car was in the process. Despite this, I will go back to Al for future car purchases. He was up-front and honest with me at all times, gave me new info on the order as he received them, and didn't push me into purchasing any options that I wasn't interested in. Overall, working with Al made the car buying experience as good as it can be. More
