Why can't car buying always be like this? On our way home from Volvo Santa Monica we unexpectedly decided to stop by the BMW dealership near our house. With our kids asleep in the car I went On our way home from Volvo Santa Monica we unexpectedly decided to stop by the BMW dealership near our house. With our kids asleep in the car I went in to take a quick look at the X3 and ran into John. My guard is always up when I meet someone from the sales team but John's demeanor made this a different experience. He was friendly, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and I didn't feel that high pressure "salesmanship" that makes me runaway hating the whole car buying experience. He took the time to walk me through the car and all its features versus trying to "sell" me a car I didn't want. We ultimately went on a test drive where he listened to what I was looking for and gave me options on how best to move forward. He then followed up without a barrage of emails and calls (unlike the other dealerships) and instead respected my request to be contacted by text. Later after I presented him with a deal I found at another dealership, he worked hard to beat their offer and worked around the clock to find the exact car I was looking for. We ended up buying the car from John thrilled with the excellent service and attention we received. This chance encounter caused us to break with Volvo after 10 years. We're thrilled with our new BMW and we consider John to be a friend. Thank you! More

No one thinks an interaction with a car salesman will be a positive experience, but John proves everyone wrong. Unexpectedly, I had to wait for a small inheritance to be distributed before I could buy my X1, and this was after I signed all the paper work to buy it. John was so kind and patient, understanding the situation I was in. He didn't bug or hassle me. He didn't play me to make the sale. I felt safe and understood, and never had the impression that his commission was all that mattered. In addition, John has great communication and people skills. I don't really know much of anything about cars, and he explained every detail of the car in a way that was easy for even me to understand. That meant a lot to me, as I'm often embarrassed by my ignorance of all things related to cars and computers. In conclusion, I am very pleased to have met John, and I now consider him a friend. And I'm a very happy customer. Thank you to John for being a solid, kind and honest man. More
