Service and management were not because I had to argue to get paperwork completed like getting my trade-in paid off, getting title so I could register the new car, and even getting the actual mileage listed correctly. They claimed all the issues were because they were new. I find they still lack integrity, customer service, and effective processes to even perform an oil change. My wife waited 2 hours before they admitted they had not started and did not even have the oil on hand. No one at the dealership takes ownership of problems. Very poorly run shop. More

Unethical Calls to consumer protection and district attorney forced them to do the right thing. Calls to BMW corporate offices helped also. Love BMWs and never wanted another type of vehicle but am rethinking that based on the awful experience and toleration by BMW organization of this dealerships unethical behavior. More
Great Deal! Great Service! My wife and I stopped in to look for a certified pre-owned 14 or 15 X5 to possibly trade our 2009 X5 for. After a very patient and knowledgeable sales My wife and I stopped in to look for a certified pre-owned 14 or 15 X5 to possibly trade our 2009 X5 for. After a very patient and knowledgeable salesperson showed us several cars and color combinations we ended up buying a 2017 X5. We never felt pressured and every question asked was answered in a professional and understandable way. Dan Petty explored different purchase and lease options with us and made us both feel like we were in charge and his ultimate goal was for the two of us to be satisfied with whatever we decided to do. It worked for all of us. As I said in the title "Great Deal! Great Service! I stated in Reason for Visit Used (sales) but we bought NEW. More

He was the most approachable, sincere, conscientious salesperson that I have ever met at any dealership. I found a car I loved & the dealership worked with me to give me a very fair price. Dan spent a lot of time answerng my questions & made the process as easy as possible. He set me up with Nick to go over all the control panel functions in the car - it was just really great service. Everyone I met went over & beyond to make me feel great about my car, the dealership & their support. More
Never again. The salesman I had worked with for almost 4 years at Baron retired so I was willing to explore purchasing a vehicle from elsewhere. Big mistake. I The salesman I had worked with for almost 4 years at Baron retired so I was willing to explore purchasing a vehicle from elsewhere. Big mistake. I bought a used 2015 550ix from BMW of South Kansas City. While the facility is nice and new, the salesman and coming to a deal was a pleasant enough experience however my experience here post sale was abysmal; the worst I have had in over 30 years of buying vehicles. This is also the second time I have had a negative experience at a Hendrick owned Dealership and will be my last experience ever with one. My salesman, James Williams was very pleasant to work with, the pre-owned sales manager Steve Genova was also pleasant and while trying to do right by the dealership had to try and make the best of a very bad situation, Becky Turner in the Parts department was amazing and that's where anything positive ceased to exist. The GM, Ken Newman, is a petulant child that rather than manning up and apologizing for the gross incompetence in the service department decided to avoid me for two hours as he walked the around the dealership while I waited for someone to drive across town to get a check they should have had waiting at the dealership. The finance guy, Chandler West, is an unethical pompous arrogant incompetent buffoon that also has no issue with altering financial paperwork after it has been signed. Imagine the worst greasy-haired sleazeball buy-here-pay-here corner lot salesman you can and you will still get more ethical behavior from that guy than you would Chandler. After this experience I will never again purchase or even look for at vehicle if it's on a Hendrick owned lot. I implore you to avoid BMW of South KC like the plague; I wouldn't send someone I despised to that place. If this is how a dealership open for just a few months operates hopefully BMW USA will take steps now to prevent future customer experience issues and just revoke their dealership agreement with all possible haste. I acknowledge that Baron may not be perfect but they saved the day in a huge way for me in this mess. Take this as you will: part of fixing the mess was that BMW of South KC agreed to pay for the parts and labor to fix the issues with the vehicle and also agreed to let another dealership, Baron, do the work. Save yourself the headache of dealing with those clowns, and likely money getting things properly diagnosed and actually fixed, by just going to Baron to start with. I learned my lesson and next time will just wait until Baron gets what I'm looking for on their lot. More
