My husband and I were in New Hampshire on business from Rhode Island and we broke down on a Sunday. We looked online for the closest Hyundai dealer and found Autofair. We called figuring they would be closed and Evan answered the phone in service and assisted us from there. He called roadside assistance for us, got us towed got our car in and figured out what happened. The alternator needed to be replaced due to an oil leak and unfortunately they had to order the part. Autofair put our part on an emergencey order, drove us to the New hampshire airport and assisted us getting a rental car so we could get to our hotel. Evan kept us updated throughout the whole process and got us back on the road by tuesday afternoon, this was no problem since we were in New Hampshire until tuesday anyhow. In 30 years of driving I have never dealt with such a courteous car dealer that actually has concern for their customers needs and time. Evan was professional, kind, polite and a role model of how anyone serving customers should treat people. Thank you so much Evan and Autofair Hyundai for helping us out when we were in need. I have always dreaded buying a new vehicle, not because I was afraid of the financial commitment, but because I was afraid of the entire sales process. I would walk out of the dealership feeling like I had been in a fight and was treated disrespectfully. That is, until I met Doug Johnson, the "Salesman with a Heart". From the moment I walked into the dealership, I was treated with nothing but respect and kindness. Within minutes, it felt like Doug and I had been friends for years instead of having met just that day. He actually LISTENED to me and made sure he got me the vehicle I wanted and the deal that I wanted. I couldn't be more pleased with my Tucson and the service that I received from Doug and the rest of the staff. It's taken me about 5 months to write this review, but I'm almost glad that I waited because I see the service that Doug provides even after the sale. He is there to answer any questions for you, no matter how many (!!!) and will even set up service appointments for his customers. How nice and unexpected is that? When my wife was looking for a car last December, we researched Dealer Rater and I came upon Doug's reviews. At the time I was skeptical of any dealerships based on my past experiences. But, when I saw some of the feedback that Doug received it seemed too good to be true. So, I remember that day we called Doug on the phone and spoke with him and he told us to come in and talk with him. Again, from past experience I walked in there with my boxing gloves on and a hockey mask ready to defend myself. But, it turned out to be the most pleasant experience we've ever had when buying a car. This is something I did not think I would ever experience walking into a dealership. My wife is Heidi M, so you could read her comments and that would give you a great picture of what this man is all about. The reason that I'm also writing a review is because we just purchased a 2nd Hyundai Tucson today. Once again, he made this buying experience just as easy and stress free as he did for my wife.
