I was told it would take a week to perform the required work and was given a loan vehicle to use. I was kept up to date on the progress of the work and sure enough in a week it was all completed. I’m thrilled to have my Q5 back and very happy with the experience I received from the staff at the Audi Service Department. More

Stepped up to take care of the customer. From the General Manager of the dealership, to the service manager, to the MMI specialist and our service writer Matt we came in with a MMI problem From the General Manager of the dealership, to the service manager, to the MMI specialist and our service writer Matt we came in with a MMI problem with our new car 2018 A-6 and they address it in a professional way. They kept my wife and I updated daily as to finding a solution to our problem. Although it took a email to the dealership GM to kick start this service due to some miscommunications with in the departments I must say it was done and kept us a return customer on our car. Although our problem was unusual I was impressed with the action taken; with Matt taking the communications lead in the end all we wanted was our car to be fixed correctly. Thanks to all at Audi dealership of Palo Alto to make it happen we are very pleased. David and Chris More
Discrimination and poor communication When waiting in line for sign in (lines with 1,2,3- for the order of services), the service person went right past me (female and person of color) to When waiting in line for sign in (lines with 1,2,3- for the order of services), the service person went right past me (female and person of color) to the second person in line (white male). When called on it, I got the excuse, "I didn't know there were lines and numbers," then "It's early in the morning". I never received an apology from anyone. I was told my car would be ready the following Monday and I would receive a text or phone call. I received neither. I finally called on Wednesday and my service person was shocked I didn't receive a call. They needed to keep my car for a recall part until Thursday. Again, poor service! This is the second time I have experienced poor treatment/care from Palo Alto dealership and will not return. More
Great service, great people, great location This is my go to around the Bay Area as it is super close my living place, and close to a lot of other things as well. I like the environment for sure This is my go to around the Bay Area as it is super close my living place, and close to a lot of other things as well. I like the environment for sure, like the staffs, like the service they provide every time and I should say that charge at a fair price. Yes it is always expensive comparatively but it is Audi we're talking about. Quite often European cars just need special care as it is incompatible with parts from a lot of other brands. If you agree so and would like to go into a dealership to take care of your luxury toy, this is the place. More

avoid Audi Palo Alto -- Sales people have no integrity Based on my experience, I would not recommend anyone to buy a car at Audi Palo Alto. I had the worst (attempted) car buying experience there recently Based on my experience, I would not recommend anyone to buy a car at Audi Palo Alto. I had the worst (attempted) car buying experience there recently. After doing on-line research, I decided to buy a certified, pre-owned Audi A6. I test drove a couple of cars at local dealers and was pleased with them. I was having difficulty finding an A6 that met the specs which I was looking for, specifically a 2015-2017 model year, low miles, one owner, fair price, etc. On January 31, 2018, I thought I found the right car for me, but little did I realize that it was at a dealership with zero integrity. That morning, I called Audi Palo Alto and informed them that I was interested in buying a 2017 Audi A6 which they had listed for sale on the internet. I spoke to the sales person named David Young. After gathering more information about the car, such as the car fax info & the CPO inspection report, I told David that I would like to purchase the vehicle. We haggled a little bit on the price, and David agreed to sell me the car for $38k. David got confirmation from the desk manager, Chuck, and we agreed that I would come in to Audi Palo Alto that day, and that we had a deal. In talking with David, I explained that I live in Folsom, and that it would take me a couple of hours to drive down to Audi Palo Alto to purchase the car. David understood and told me that he’d get started on the paperwork, and asked me for various pieces of information, such as my address, etc. I made it very clear to David that I would get a ride asap down to Audi Palo Alto to complete the paperwork and pay for the vehicle. He knew that it would take me a couple of hours to get there, and he said the car would be held for me, so that I didn’t arrive to find out that the car had been sold to someone else. I even texted David as I left to again confirm that I was on my way and that I wanted him to confirm that the car would be ready for me to buy when I arrived in a couple of hours. Well, you guessed it – after I left work at lunchtime and half way into my trip down to Palo Alto, David called me to inform me that someone else was looking at the car now. My immediate response was, tell the other potential customer that the car is already sold, because we had a verbal agreement that I am buying this car, and I’m already on my way. David says, too bad, I think the other party is going to make an offer. I then get transferred to Chuck, who tries to tell me that the other people have been looking at the car for a while, yet nobody ever mentioned this other potential buyer when I had been asking all of my questions about the car, agreeing on the price, etc. Chuck proceeded to rudely hang up on me, since he had no good explanation for why the car shouldn’t be sold to me, as per our earlier phone agreement. I proceeded to call Audi Palo Alto back and spoke to a different manager who was of no help. I asked to speak with the general manager, Sven Wood, but he was busy and could not talk to me. Hours later, I received a call from Mark Moore, yet another manager. He was sympathetic and acknowledged that I was screwed in this situation. But it was too late, as the car was sold to the other party. I pointed out that Audi Palo Alto had another 2017 Audi A6 with very similar specs, and asked for that car to be sold to me instead, at the same price previously agreed upon. Mark pointed out that the other Audi had an additional Cold Weather Package, with a sticker value of $1500, so they couldn’t match the same price. In my opinion, the dealer could’ve eaten that cost due to the poor customer experience. Instead, the best offer they would accept for the second car was $3500 higher than the previously agreed price for the first car. I said, no thanks. I will never try to deal with Audi Palo Alto again, and I caution any potential car buyers from going there. More
