Health challenges, unexpected job losses, and financial hardships affected my credit and made what should have been a simple purchase feel almost impossible. My credit score reflected some of the hardest chapters of my life, but it never reflected my character, my determination, or my willingness to rebuild. Despite everything, I never stopped trying. She even sat right in the car with her and walked through all the features so that when my mom drove off, she felt completely at ease. My mom was thrilled, and honestly, so was I.
