The used car dealership claimed the timing belt was replaced and claimed their BMW mechanic would replace the motor mounts to make with good OEM moun The used car dealership claimed the timing belt was replaced and claimed their BMW mechanic would replace the motor mounts to make with good OEM mounts and that the car was "functionally sound", but after checking with my trusted mechanic, the timing belt was NOT replaced. The motor mounts never felt bad until after the BMW mechanic changed the mounts, so I have a feeling they swapped the only good OEM mounts with cheap off-the-shelf mounts and now it feels awful. Tried calling them back and I verbally heard someone in the background to tell them to hang up the phone. NEVER trust their on-site mechanic. ALWAYS document what they claim. And just stay away from these deceptive greedy snakes. More
