The front was great, Edger took great care of me and kept me informed. The problem came with the technician he was working on my car. I came in for a state inspection oil change 45,000 mile maintenance and t me informed. The problem came with the technician he was working on my car. I came in for a state inspection oil change 45,000 mile maintenance and tire rotation. It was found that there was an open recall on my vehicle and was asked if I wanted that to be done. I said yes to the open recall to be fixed, thinking that all the other had been taken care of at that time. But unfortunately, it was not done and the technician did the open recall before he did my state inspection. This caused a problem with the state inspection and my car had to be driven A total of 40 miles by your service personnel. This did not change some of that needed to be done for the state inspection. I had to drive an additional hundred miles to get these settings to reset, And come back the next day to get my state inspection completed. By this time, I had already set for 4 1/2 hours then having to drive an additional two hours to get the hundred miles in then having to sit and wait for another 30 minutes the next day to get the state inspection. So in total, I spent seven hours getting something that should’ve been done in a very reasonable amount of time on top of all of this. I came in with a full tank of gas.. When this was all said and done, I am down to 3/4 of a tank of gas. Gas is expensive. What was given to me to make me happy was that I paid $250 for the services and given a $25 gift certificate and my state inspection was not charged to me. The next day, while my car was getting the state inspection, they gave me a car wash. They still do not satisfy the use of gasoline And my time. I felt like I was ganged up on on Friday afternoon when they told me that my car was not done and then I’d have to drive an additional hundred miles and when I they told me that the price was $300 and not the quoted price of 200. That’s one I, like I was being taken for a ride . A $50 discount was finally agreed-upon by the customer service Director driver manager Krista Harris and was given a $25 gift certificate by Terry Scott the customer relations manager to fort that does not allow me to go and get gas anywhere. I can only use that $25 at Ford. on top of all of this, when I got back into my car, the car seat was laid back like somebody was driving my car in that position. The Lugnut unlocking nut was taken out of my glove compartment and just thrown in the middle of my dash, and there was a piece of paper on the floor of my floorboard, and you could tell that the cable that I used to charge my phone with had been used, all the settings were messed up and the sticker that is put on the windshield that says when you need to come back in to have your oil changed was never replaced . Of all the people that was working with me, Edgar was the one who did the most that he possibly could do and was the friendliest. The other two ladies were trying to be friendly, but we’re also trying to get me to pay full price for everything. I feel like I should’ve gotten labor, not charged and gas. On top of Everything else that was given. This experience makes me not want to come back to Town East Ford. My husband and I have been buying our vehicles and getting our vehicle serviced here for the last 30 years. We have never had this type of experience.. More
