Shame on you VW! I brought my car in for two recalls it had on it, which were covered by the dealership. AAA ended up bringing my car to the dealership because it broke down on the way over. I was then told that a Volkswagen mechanic would have to look over the car to see what had happened. They looked it over and said it was likely a fuse related issue and that there was also a slow fluid leak. He gave me an estimate of around 700$ to repair. I said no and to just fix the recalls. They fixed the recalls and it was time for me to come and pick up my car. My total was 130$ for the labor for them to look over the car and tell me what was wrong with it. The recalls were obviously covered by the dealership. I was given paperwork regarding what work was completed, what should be fixed and overall what shape my car was in. They said my brakes were in good condition, my batterie was good and my tires are good. Driving home.... My car started making some noises so I brought it to get checked out at a mechanic shop. They said my brakes are shot and showed me it is down to nothing, my rear tires are worn-probably due to an alignment issue and that a vacuum plug was loose and that was why my car was driving the way it was and shutting down. This is coming from a reliable mechanic that we have had all of our vehicles maintained by for years and years and personally know. That is ridiculous that you would even allow someone to drive away with a car in that condition. Did you even look at my car? Or did you just guess and fill out the report? I will never do business at this location again or another vw dealership and I will tell others of my experience. I just wish I was told exactly what was going on with my car. I wish you would've taken the time to look over my vehicle properly. Not only for my safety but the safety of my children. Shame on you guys!! More

Unexpected positive surprise!!! :) I purchased user Acura MDX and 2 days after I go it home I realized the sun roof did not work and it was leaking. As you can guess I was concerned tha I purchased user Acura MDX and 2 days after I go it home I realized the sun roof did not work and it was leaking. As you can guess I was concerned that I have to pay for a major repair for car I just purchased. The car was had the Luther advantage warranty and West Side VW replaced the Sun roof entire sun roof track assembly and motor (i.e. about $3000 parts and labor). Needless to say this was a significant fix and West Side VW (I.e. Luther advantage warranty) completed repair at no charge to me. Yes, I did not have my new car for a week but I was provide a loner while repair was complete.d. This was an significant unexpected problem and WestSide VW took car of problem and cover cost for repair. This is what I call a significant positive surprise!!! Thank you!!! Daniel Walsh More
