09/28 I would like to express my concerns regarding my recent experience at the Suntrup Nissan dealership on S. Lindbergh while attempting to purchase a 2024 Nissan Frontier SV. After confirming the av recent experience at the Suntrup Nissan dealership on S. Lindbergh while attempting to purchase a 2024 Nissan Frontier SV. After confirming the availability of the truck and receiving a proposal from my initial contact person, I scheduled an appointment to test drive the Frontier. I arrived expecting a seamless transaction characterized by "Zero Haggling, Zero Surprises, Zero Stress," and with the hope of establishing a long-term relationship built on "Trust" for future purchases and services. Upon my arrival and after meeting my contact person, however, I was informed that the 2024 Nissan Frontier was not on the lot for me to test drive or purchase, which was baffling and disappointing. Despite my efforts to follow up with my contact person, I was unable to reach him. I left a voicemail with my contact details, but did not receive a response. Determined to move forward I revisited the dealership. After some difficulty, I located or found the 2024 Frontier on the lot. I was finally able to test drive the vehicle. In the end, my contact person would not honor the proposal, and that resulted in a significant price increase. I was also informed that I had to put down a $500 "nonrefundable" deposit. Regrettably, my experience was inexcusable, confusing and disappointing. My intention was to test drive the vehicle and proceed with a straightforward purchase, but I encountered several unnecessary and unwarranted obstacles along the way. Doug More
