I will not be returning to H of F. During my last service, I was told I needed bushings in my steering mechanism. I made a follow up appt on line, and then called to see if they had th During my last service, I was told I needed bushings in my steering mechanism. I made a follow up appt on line, and then called to see if they had the parts. They couldn’t find the notes, so I had to go on my appointed day, only to find out the parts had to be ordered. One wasted day unnecessarily. $522+ dollars for the parts. Parts come in, no one called, I had to call. Looked for the same parts on line, found them for $105. Cancelled order, took car to my local shop. They said nothing was urgent with the bushings and I could go another year. I’d have to be insane to return to this dealership. More

I have purchased and serviced cars at this dealership for over 25 years. My Service Manager for the majority of that time has been Steve Mutchler, in whom I have the utmost trust and confidence. During that over 25 years. My Service Manager for the majority of that time has been Steve Mutchler, in whom I have the utmost trust and confidence. During that time, and over the ownership and service for three different Hondas, I have never had a breakdown. Even though another Honda dealership is 3 miles from my home, I drive 15 miles to Honda of Freehold. Consistent reliability, quality and technical expertise are the hallmark of the Honda of Freehold service and sales staff. More

My experience with Honda of Freehold has always been very positive. Cole was great and I appreciated without even asking an offer to provide a ride home for me given the recall repair was to take most of the positive. I rated the dealer with 4 Stars. Everything was fine but I have two reservations preventing a 5 Star rating. Frst, I always feel like the dealer is trying to upsell repair/maintena Everything was fine but I have two reservations preventing a 5 Star rating. Frst, I always feel like the dealer is trying to upsell repair/maintenance work. Honda says it has one of the lowest costs of ownership but it always seems like regular maintenance costs me more than my other two non Honda vehicles. Second, the checkout process is very inefficient for the customer. The shop calls you to tell you the repairs are complete, what was done, and the final cost. However, when you show up to retrieve your vehicle, you can’t go directly to the Cashier to pay for the service. You need to wait for a service advisor who explains everything that was done again for the second time. Then he has to walk you over to the Cashier for payment. On the most recent visit, I had to wait about 10 minutes for a Service Advisor to become free to walk me over to the Cashier to pay for my service. I would put the paperwork at the Cashier and, only if I have additional questions, I should have to talk to the Service Advisor. This would improve the pick up experience for the Customer. More
