Service receptionist was on her cell phone talking to her mom while I stood there for a good 2 min before she greeted me. Then she could not get logged into the system to check me that added another 5 min or mom while I stood there for a good 2 min before she greeted me. Then she could not get logged into the system to check me that added another 5 min or so. After they had to scan the truck twice because they couldn’t figure out the system all in all almost 10 min to check in for a bed cover to be installed. Appointment was at 0830 bed cover is a 30 min install if that. Finally around 10 AM they said the truck was done. I walked out and the cover looked different from what I had ordered. Didn’t have time to figure it out as we were headed out for vacation. A few days later I get a call telling me they installed the wrong cover telling me we can get you in tomorrow at 0800 which is funny b/c originally the appointment was scheduled almost a week out because they were busy. Took a full day off work instead of a half day for the install now they are telling me I need to take another day off to switch out the cover or pay the $600 dollar difference for the service departments mess up. More than happy to have a deal worked out but I know for a fact your dealer cost is less than customer cost plus you would sell my cover to someone else. All the dealership is trying to do is make me pay for the mixup in which the dealership had to buy the other truck a new cover. Thst is not I expect business to be done. More
