I have been a Land Rover/Range Rover owner for 18 years. I have used this service center exclusively because I always believed it offered the best care for our automobiles. However, I have learned that corn I have used this service center exclusively because I always believed it offered the best care for our automobiles. However, I have learned that corners have been cut in their annual servicing of our vehicles. Tires don't get rotated, so they don't last as long. When I inquired about this, they said that I hadn't requested tire rotation. Well, tire rotation is a basic part of any annual servicing so for a service center that charges top dollar for their work to tell me that tire rotation is not necessarily done when a car is being serviced was disappointing to say the least. Also, even when I come in for a basic service, I am always hit with a number of other services the shop 'highly recommends' based on their inspection of the vehicle. On average (and I'm talking about multiple services at Jaguar Land Rover Santa Monica), these extra, highly recommended services bring what was supposed to be a basic service cost up to the $4,000 range. I could understand if that happened once or twice, but it's every time. I have never brought a vehicle there for a basic service without a costly recommendation for me to approve so they can add it to the work. This last time was no different. And after paying much more than I was expecting, they didn't even turn off the 'in need of service' sign that lights up on the dash. They always did and in the past, so when I called to point this out, I was told that that would be an additional service I would need to bring the car in for. And by the way, this additional service visit would not be free of charge. So, I'm disappointed and in search of a shop that won't gouge me. What I will say is that the work that is done by this service center is good. It's just pricey and you're going to get costly service recommendations to add to the work being done on your car every visit. More

Hands-down, best dealership ever when I go here John takes care of me. He has my vehicle in and out of there as fast as possible they always target the problem. I usually don’t have to wait around for a takes care of me. He has my vehicle in and out of there as fast as possible they always target the problem. The dealership is clearly firstrate. THE PROBLEM "RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE" WAS NOT FIXED. CAME BACK 4 WEEKS LATER. THEN THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALING WITH MARIO GARCIA. NEVER WOULD CALL BACK AS HE SAID ON SEVERAL OCCASION. RAFI THEN TOOK CARE CAME BACK 4 WEEKS LATER. THEN THE MISFORTUNE OF DEALING WITH MARIO GARCIA. NEVER WOULD CALL BACK AS HE SAID ON SEVERAL OCCASION. RAFI THEN TOOK CARE OF IT . WHEN I ASKED RAFI WAS THE CAR READY, HE SAID "YEAD DIDN'T MARIO CALL YOU AT 1PM". NO MARIO DID NOT CALL NOR DID HE CALL ON FRIDAY 9/15 AS HE SAID HE WOULD TO UPDATE THE CAR. HE NEVER EVEN CAME TO WORK THAT DAY. NOT TO MENTION THE WHOLE REASON I BROUGHT THE CAR IN THIS LAST TIME (ON 9/13) WAS DUE TO THE RED LIGHT WARNING ("RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE") WHICH MR. HERNANDEZ TOLD ME WAS TAKEN CARE OF WHEN I HAD BROUGHT THE CAR IN 4 WEEKS EARLIER TO UNDERGO ITS ANNUAL MAINTENAANCE AND PURCHASE 2 MORE TIRES. ALL IN ALL VERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE.
