Initially, I was not getting anywhere close to a decent offer, but once I stuck to my guns about what I wanted, they eventually met me where I was and was given the offer I asked for! Oscar and Jim were in such a rush to get the IONIQ over to me that Jim did not even realize he didn’t properly obtain my signatures on the financial documents. Because of his mistake and delay, I couldn’t to me that Jim did not even realize he didn’t properly obtain my signatures on the financial documents. Because of his mistake and delay, I couldn’t set up an account to start making my monthly payments. I had to come in again to re-sign the papers, and Jim assured me I could make my second monthly payment with him and he would make sure it would go through. I did not appreciate having to go back in to do this and of course Oscar stopped all communication aside from trying to rush me to get in. Fast forward a couple weeks and Hyundai Finance keeps calling me saying that my payment was never posted, and now I have a late charge. I attempted to contact Jim, and I have never been able to reach him again EXCEPT of course when he needed me to come in. Mac stepped in since Jim was consistently unavailable and he said he would get it figured out, and ultimately he was able to get in writing that I would get a check with a refund. Over a month later, since Jim “handled” my second payment and two weeks since speaking to Mac, I still had nothing. No check, no follow through. Guest relations had to step in and get me a refund for the monthly amount + late payment. I had to come in yet again to get this refund. I was so annoyed at these constant inconveniences, miscommunication, and unavailability of Jim. Mac and Bridget were great. However I am now turned off from getting another car through Hyundai again in the future. More
