I immediately called service and Eric accused me of lying. Not the right move my friend. Wrong move, wrong person. My mechanic states it is a bent rotor, bent wheel and bent caliper on left side. I trust my mechanic for 20 yrs now. Dealership said to let them fix it. Why didn't they fix it over the time they had the car . Who sells a car with bent parts...important parts no less. They start with Overall it was a very uncomfortable, discourteous experience, and buying at Schwartz Mazda was one of the worst decisions of my life. They start with a typical bait and switch. They get you in the door with a low quote and then add fees like a $600 "dealership fee" to make up the difference (not a doc fee, it was on top of the doc fee which is $500). They sell you on the "dealership fee" by saying it includes window etching which lowers your insurance. However, my insurance company later informed me that you already get that discount because the car has a security system. Then they pressure you in a very aggressive and rude manner. The salesman Rino Mongillo said things like "you need to make a decision, I am busy and have a lot of customers". The salesman Rino and the manager Neil Rosenstein then played good cop, bad cop. They are unclear and hide the detailed numbers until after they make you wait an extremely long time to get the detailed numbers and it is time to sign. Every sleazy sales tactic in the book. Everyone at the dealership also made me feel like a nuisance for trying to be thorough and get clear information. One gentleman sarcastically asked me if "we were going to be ok" because I had to make them bring the car back 3 times to have it properly detailed. The paperwork signing process is a very disjointed mix of electronic and paper forms that don't match. They were lucky I didn't feel like potentially going through the process at another dealership, but I guess sleazy dealerships like Schwartz Mazda depend on that. More

Great deal, no surprises, power of the Schwartz! Visited Schwartz for a used car after doing alot of research and lining up a few prospects from different dealerships. I Initally worked with Neil (i Visited Schwartz for a used car after doing alot of research and lining up a few prospects from different dealerships. I Initally worked with Neil (internet sales) who was really good and responsive. Upon arrival I was assigned a salesman and we just didn't click. I spent about 45 minutes the first night and left without a deal. After providing some feedback, I was contacted by Neil the following morning and he advised he would see what he could do. Within a few hours he called me back and in a nut shell I picked up the car that evening. I met with Neil and then Ryan processed the sale. Ryan was awesome and took care of everything quickly and professionally. The total time I spent at the dealership was under 2 hours which was great. The car was prepped well and ready to go. Overall the entire operat ion runs like a well oiled machine and the handoffs from internet to sales to finance was very smooth. I would definitely consider purchasing from Schwartz again. More

How Schwartz Mazda's Sales Manager wasted 8 Hours of my Day HOW SCHWARTZ MAZDA WASTED 8 HOURS OF MY SATURDAY: Called on the phone to confirm a quick test drive and quick talk about buying a car ahead of time HOW SCHWARTZ MAZDA WASTED 8 HOURS OF MY SATURDAY: Called on the phone to confirm a quick test drive and quick talk about buying a car ahead of time as I would be driving 2 hours from NY to this dealer for a car I was interested in. Got there at 12, did a 15 minute test drive, and for 3.5 HOURS we sat around talking to NO ONE but the errant "Oh 20 more minutes" here and there. We had mentioned even ahead of time that myself and my partner would happily go to lunch nearby for an hour or two if they needed time to process information and such about the sale. Instead, we sat around being led around like a horse chasing a carrot on a stick. What did we get for it? The dealer tried to push $300 of "Prep" fees and $300 of "VIN Etching" fees (See also: Typical Dealer Fake Markups) on us after making us knowingly sit around with our thumbs up our butts. Worse yet, they had told us at one point they were making us wait for 1.5 hours because they were comparing for the best interest rates for a loan across 30 lenders. When we got the pricing our rate was 5.4%. Asked what was up and if we could lower it? "Oh this was the first rate we looked at. Here, the 2nd one is 3.44%" Man, I might as well go home and just find my best rate myself, they sure won't do it for me. Then when I try to leave home to do such a thing, the Sales Manager turns into a vile evil person stressing both myself and my partner out and trying to manipulate us into buying this car and leaving with it today. "Oh you already drove 1.5 hours down here." "Oh the interest rate thing is just a few dollars a month" Furthermore, when we arrived we said we were not taking the car home today. We still did not have insurance setup and would need to do it. Well, the saleslady was surprised we were even talking to her when she did, as she told us we could not be allowed to drive the car off the lot until we have insurance set up. So, why did the sales manager try so hard to get us to drive home that day in a car we had no insurance on? All this on a car with 22k miles on the clock and NO SERVICE RECORDS through CarFax or dealer, so as far as the buyer knows, this thing may not have had an oil change in 20k+ miles, let alone the numerous dealer services e.g. MANUFACTURER ECU RECALL in 2015 THAT WAS NEVER DONE, inspections on brake lines, suspension, etc. that was never done. Every excuse in the book. If you want someone to waste your time and money, come to "Schwartz Mazda", where our only pull is the lame joke of our name, because we'll be damned if we're gonna give you good customer service. Thanks for a wasted Saturday, and FIND A NEW SALES MANAGER. One more time: Wanda, thank you. Tommy, thank you. Niel, thank you. You were all wonderful and we were just about ready to sign the papers on the car deal. All we needed was to look at better loan rates ourselves, but your Sales Manager, in 2 minutes flat, turned us FAR AND FAST away from your doorsteps. It was a pleasure doing business with most of you. More

Treated like a valued cutomer, but then ... Tom Mauro treated me like a respected and valued customer. He worked with me to help me purchase my vehicle. It was exactly what I was looking for. Th Tom Mauro treated me like a respected and valued customer. He worked with me to help me purchase my vehicle. It was exactly what I was looking for. The Finance Manager was easy to work with as well. I would recommend. Follow up 9.23.17. My car leaks from the roof when it rains. Honda spent three hours trying to repair it but was unable to. They are calling in a water specialist for a second appointment. Honda tried to repair the broken power sockets, replaced the fuses but they just blew on me today when I put my GPS in the socket. Apparently this was somebody's car from the dealership that had to buy a Mazda. I thought buying a Honda would be a no brainer, but maybe I didn't look hard enough. I am wondering why they traded it in and never made me aware of these things I didn't notice. So far I am 300 dollars into repairs wondering what the second visit will cost. I will follow up then. So even though they were nice I am taking off two stars from my original 5. The Drivers seat in the car is uncomfortable too, but apparently this car is noted for that. I was actually ready to trade the car in before I even got the license plates for it. I may switch out the seats or trade in it for an Acura down the road. Not sure. I think it pays to buy Japanese. Great dealer I was looking for a used Mazda 6 for my daughter and was tired of driving to dealers who tacked on last minute fees when I was ready to close the deal I was looking for a used Mazda 6 for my daughter and was tired of driving to dealers who tacked on last minute fees when I was ready to close the deal. I called schwartz Mazda and spoke to Charlie. We discussed all fees along with an approximate value on my trade. Since I live on long island I was tired of driving to Jersey and getting the run around. When I got there it took about a half an hour and the deal was done no bait and switch no hassle. I would definitely recommend them and it was worth the trip My daughter loved the car. More
