Neal Simon immediately gave me the keys and sent me on my way, by myself, to get a feel for the car. There was no pressure. I spent about 20-25 minutes with the car and really checked it out without the pressure you typically experience on a 4 minute test drive. I came back, and within 60 minutes, my wife finished signing the paperwork. The dealer got her a rate that was lower than what she was approved for through her bank. I can attest that the finance department will not inflate your interest rates like they openly do at other dealerships. The finance folks did not hard-sell us all the add-ons that other dealers pressure you into. They told us the options and we made our decisions, simple as that. There were no hidden fees. The vehicle didn't come with the typical scam items, such as vin etching and the like. The price we discussed initially is exactly what we paid. Neal did a great job. Unlike the last 3 dealerships I visited, he spent 15 minutes showing my wife each and every feature of the vehicle and answered all her questions. He actually knew a thing or two about the vehicle he was selling. It was refreshing. The communication between Neal and finance was flawless. I told Neal what we planned on putting down, as well as the desired length of the loan. When we signed, we didn't waste time looking at 6 different loan schedules. We got exactly what we asked for, and promptly. This dealership went above and beyond anything I could have asked for. I write this email to you to share and show my appreciation for the professionalism, courtesy and great service afforded me on every visit to Hamilton Mazda. Mr Rutherford and Anes always treat me as a valued customer and I leave feeling satisfied that I have been treated fairly and driving a safe well maintained vehicle. Why the glowing praise for your establishment? I purchased my first Mazda, a 626 in 1987, from a dealer in another area. Without going into any detail, I was not treated as a valued customer and was nickle and dimed at every service at a time when resources were low. It gave me a bad taste for service departments from then on. Hamilton Mazda has changed that perception and I thank the Management, Mr. Rutherford and Anes for setting a high bar. More

Fair Price, Quick Paperwork, Nice People! I was in the market for a particular used vehicle. Hamilton Mazda had one in stock and I sent an email over the weekend and went down the following M I was in the market for a particular used vehicle. Hamilton Mazda had one in stock and I sent an email over the weekend and went down the following Monday to take a test drive. The car was as advertised and they gladly let me take it over to my mechanic, who said it was in very good shape and just needed some routine maintenance items. My mechanic noted that someone must have just put new brakes on the car. I mentioned this to Neal Simon when I got back to the dealership and he said yes, they had done so because they wanted to make sure the car was safe to drive. I think the price I ultimately paid was fair given the new brakes and the lack of any major mechanical issues. Neal was very personable and easy to work with through the whole process. I went home to get my checkbook and by the time I got back the car was all ready to go and the paperwork was waiting and that all took less than 10 minutes. The woman who walked me through all the paperwork (sorry I don't recall her name) was very pleasant and helpful, especially when I spotted a small mistake on the invoice she quickly corrected (I was being charged for $7.50 new tires but this was a used car -- just an oversight I think). My wife and I are looking at small SUV's and will almost certainly come back to Neal and this dealership to test drive a Mazda CX-5. More
