Nightmare on Hillside!! Terrible experience!!! Buyers beware!! I've always thought buying a car would be a wonderful and exciting moment, at least from prior experience howev Terrible experience!!! Buyers beware!! I've always thought buying a car would be a wonderful and exciting moment, at least from prior experience however not at Hillside Honda! This was a total nightmare!!! First of all they make you wait...like 3 hrs at a time..just sitting and waiting!! First time was for all the information they wanted and waiting and waiting and waiting to speak with their business manager! Waited almost 4 hrs before saying forget it here is my applications and references ...I'll come back another day to speak with the business manager! I come back another day and still have to wait!!! Waited another 3 hrs just to sit down with the business manager Mohammed for 5 mins just for him to tell me some outrageous price for warranty!! Not only that but he was lazy! He started going off on some xxxxxxxx how my BF didn't have as great of a credit score so APR was 4.5% but what the xxxx is the point of having a cosigner who is tier 1?!?!?! He was just too lazy to fill out appropriate paperwork! He adamantly refused to throw in free all weather mats and said he can't do anything about it and how it should have been settled with the sales person! The final straw was when he said $2350 for 3 year extended warranty?!?!?!?!?!?! Guys if you do any car shopping please please please do your homework and research and call other places first!! Bay ridge honda offers 5-8years extended warranty with tire protection for 5 years for just $1400! We said we would take our business elsewhere and then Mohammed then adds on 1 year at a time of extended warranty for the same price!!! There was room for him to negotiate but he wanted no mercy from us! Then he said it's fine I'll sign off on the car mats! That shows how hungry they are! We drove straight to bay ridge honda in Brooklyn where we restarted the process but saw the business manager the same day, got our loan approve, set up car insurance etc!! It's unfair to not shout out Bay ridge honda....they will get their own review soon :) Only positive thing I can say about Hillside Honda is their sales person Hugo...new but you can see how eager he was to help us! He got us the best price and did everything he could but his business manager wasn't helpful. Still can't believe I wasted 3 hrs that day to see Mohammad for a 5 minute conversation!!! Buyers please be aware!!! More
