I recently had an outstanding experience at George Moore Chevrolet and cannot recommend them highly enough! From the moment I stepped through the door, the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. Lets start with Julio in the sales department showcased exceptional, hands-on knowledge about every vehicle, ensuring I was thoroughly informed from bumper to bumper. This ultimately led to my decision to purchase a brand new Chevy Silverado 1500, complete with all the features I desired!bLets begins with Mr Todd, Mr Julio simply “ROCK STARS” Mr. Todd in finance was incredibly helpful in more ways that can be described and ensured the entire process was seamless from beginning to end. He worked diligently to address every detail, making the experience feel truly personalized. Sincere thank you to him and Julio exceptional leadership professionalism and service! The service department, led by for me by Gabe and more recently Mike, thank you for demonstrated remarkable professionalism and meticulous attention to detail. Listening to my concerns and executing in a timing fashion along with text updated They communicated effectively throughout my visit, showing genuine respect for my time and needs. As a business owner, I greatly appreciate the high level of service they provide. It was refreshing to see every team member eager to assist and greet customers with a smile. I dropped my truck off at 11:30 with an appointment for oil change and tire rotation, there was also a piece on the cowling that needed to be reconnected ( this is the second tine needing this done) I call oil change and tire rotation, there was also a piece on the cowling that needed to be reconnected ( this is the second tine needing this done) I called twice and was told it’s being washed then the crawling was being repaired and final at 4:30 they contacted me that the truck was ready. When I picked it up it hadn’t been washed but I wasn’t about to worry about it at that point. More

I was mostly okay, but downgrade because I was handed a 2nd key fob that did not work. This should not happen on a certified vehicle and hope no other buyer has to deal with getting this situation correcte 2nd key fob that did not work. This should not happen on a certified vehicle and hope no other buyer has to deal with getting this situation corrected. I spent at least 2 hours one day getting the problem fixed and then had to leave the vehicle with service a secongad day while the key fob was reprogrammed. Just not acceptable! More

Informed me there was a special going on for Stated that I I know I needed tires, but that I was going to get those taken care of next week. Mike C. Informed me there was a special going on for tires and got me setup with everything I needed that day. He has always taken care of us when we come in and we are so appreciative of that. Made appointment for 12 noon for oil change (no tire rotation or wash). The service advisor taking my info said he was not going back into my service request to delete the tire rotation and wash. S/A sa rotation or wash). The service advisor taking my info said he was not going back into my service request to delete the tire rotation and wash. S/A said he would write it on the paper service request. The S/A said told they were backed up and it would be 1.5 to 2 hours. I agreed and received text at 11:40 (I arrived early) to review status us service. At 1:41 (almost 1.75 hours past my appointment), I checked with S/A Mike. S/A Mike said normal time for an oil change is 1.5 to 2.0 hours. I told S/A Mike all I wanted was an oil change. S/A Mike said that was not on my service request. I told him the other S/A wrote did not want to update the service request and he wrote it on the paper service request. S/A Mike checked on my vehicle and said the tires were being rotated. S/A mike confirmed the intake S/A wrote no rotation on the S/R. S/A Mike said he had the Service Tech put the tires back on as they were originally. S/A Mike said they had been waiting for a lift for the tire rotation. I expressed my unhappiness with waiting 2 hours for a simple oil change. S/A Mike said that 1.5 to 2.0 hours is an industry standard turnaround time. I'm unhappy because I was given 3 different reasons for a 2.0 hour oil change. 1. Backed up 2. Waiting for a lift 3. 2.0 hours is an industry standard S/A Mike provided me a very weak I'M SORRY (I heard - I'm NOT sorry for poor service you received - I'm sorry you are not willing to accept our poor service without commenting). I asked to speak with a manager. S/A Mike said the manager was sitting beside him during our conversation. Manager said 1.5 to 2.0 hours was industry standard. I told manager I would be taking my business elsewhere. S/A Manager provided another weak I'M SORRY and seemed to be intimidated by resolving conflict. The Service Advisor area appears to be disorganized. It is difficult for customers and employees to navigate. A drink and a snack are appropriate in the S/A area, however I find it unprofessional for S/As have their meal spread out in that very tight customer/employee area. The two S/As I dealt with appeared to be coasting and displayed low concern regarding their job or customer satisfaction. S/A Manager was just there letting the S/As run the place. I noticed one S/A (a young man at the workstation near the front of the building) who was very engaged with his customers and seemed to be providing good service and wanting the customer to be satisfied. I have brought my vehicle to George Moore for service and repairs since I moved to Jax several years ago. I'm sure the loss of my business will not be missed. I'm retired and have time to wait. I understand things happen that are out of one's control and I pride myself on being patient. Other than one review, I always leave an outstanding review. If I receive poor service, I mark that up to people or circumstances on that day and I don't judge that one experience. My experience at George Moore service department did not seem to be one off. FYI - I have been considering buying a new vehicle. Even though I liked Dodge trucks and had minimum problems, I stopped buying them due to extremely poor dealer service. More
