We choose Garavel Subaru out of the convenience of their opening hours on the last Sunday of the month. Michele was welcoming and personable. She understood our needs and was not pushy. We did have a slight miscommunication that resulted in picking up the vehicle a little later than expected. Although the baked goods rack in the waiting area was empty every time we checked, we enjoyed tea and hot chocolate. We also love that Subaru sets up Terracycle recycling receptacles in the waiting & donates a percentage of profit from every sale to a charity each month (This month was Mikey's Way Foundation - who helps kids cope with cancer) - just a few of the values that align with ours. We also enjoyed our interaction with Teddy. While deciding between a Forester and an Outback, Teddy asked us if we believe in fate. He then generated a decision wheel and spun it which made us laugh (and helped me get the Forester I was eyeing!) When we picked up our vehicle, he handed us a USB with 191 unexpected but wonderful Christmas music we listened all the way home. It was such a thoughtful gesture and enjoyable ride. She decided that a Subaru would suit her needs, as well as the safety features. Michele has been so personable assisting both my brother and I. Because Mary Kay lives in New Jersey, sending documents via email is not her fortay. But the Crosstrek Model is user friendly. Michele gave my mom a tutorial on setting up her phone, etc. I definitely that my mom enjoyed and appreciates getting a tutor session from Michele. Michele was so gracious and kind to all of us during my mom’s purchase. Mom always complained about having a silver Infinity, because it looks like every other crossover in a parking lot. The dealership she purchased it from 14 years ago were pushy. Growing up in New England in the 1980’s my mother always admired the AWD features she noticed Subaru had. I think this was the kind of car she fantasized about having 30 years ago. We always tell her she looks great in Blue, now she can drive a Sapphire Blue Hot Rod around her town in NJ. But she will have another excuse to drive up to Darien CT to see her grandchildren and feel safe driving a car that has sensors. She can also get her maintenance, oil change etc at her favorite car dealership. Michele really took the time to allow my mom to buy rather than lease. I know all her children are very excited she bought a car she feels safe to drive. Michele won my mother’s trust upon meeting her when she was considering a new car.
