Best 4th of July so far! It took our whole day off but the team at Colonial Hyundai was phenominal. Since January, 2019, Krista Smoot stayed in touch with us when we inquired It took our whole day off but the team at Colonial Hyundai was phenominal. Since January, 2019, Krista Smoot stayed in touch with us when we inquired about the Hyundai Palisade and answered all our questions promptly. Tammy Zegac kept us informed of promotions being run. When we showed up on July 4th after Tammy called us on July 3rd to confirm arrival/availability of the Palisades, Krista came out to greet us and passed us on to Michael Wilkinson. Michael was great, patient and treated us with dignity. He and the Finance team worked hard to make sure we got the best deal for the best available vehicle we ended up wanting. I wish we could remember the key Finance guy who worked with Michael to make our day spent end up pleasantly. Spent hours waiting to take our car home I was looking for a new car and found one at colonial. We went to test drive and crunch numbers on a Saturday. We decided we wanted the car and to exp I was looking for a new car and found one at colonial. We went to test drive and crunch numbers on a Saturday. We decided we wanted the car and to expedite the process of purchasing I completed all paperwork online however, when we went back the next day we spent almost 4 hours just sitting around waiting for our paperwork to be ready. Finance claims they were “swamped” during the day and didn’t realize we had completed required paperwork in advance.. there was no communication between the teams. We had an appointment and they simply could have communicated the need to reschedule our evening appointment regardless of previously completely paperwork or not to ensure all parties were prepared. We sat at the dealership until 9pm with a crying newborn and almost walked out without the new car. With that being said, the sales reps (Michael and brad) themselves were very pleasant and apologetic and worked hard to fit our budget and help us get into a car we liked. I am on the fence about returning but would hope for better communication and planned to avoid long hours sitting around for any customer. More
