A "fair deal" dealer I had watched the Consumer Reports' online videos, offered to annual CR subscribers, that spent between 7-10 minutes on each vehicle comparing it to o I had watched the Consumer Reports' online videos, offered to annual CR subscribers, that spent between 7-10 minutes on each vehicle comparing it to others in their class and the strengths and weaknesses of each vehicle. I evaluated eight different manufacturer's vehicles in particular and decided upon the Subaru Legacy. My salesman, Dennis McWeeney, spent two hours with me on two separate days to close the deal. My first 2-hour visit was to familiarize myself with Subaru, having never purchased a Subaru in my 50 years of driving. Dennis was very patient and let me drive two different models to experience the differences. I then went home and checked on pricing and looked at inventories at World and other local Subaru dealers. Some of the other dealers even quoted their best numbers by email. Although I had hoped that Dennis would come up with a good price because of the proximity of World Subaru to my home, I was prepared to buy from another Subaru dealer, if we could not work out a fair price. The second 2-hour visit was to talk price and terms, to transact the sale and to wait for the car to be prepped so that I could drive it home. After I transacted for the vehicle and after the prep, Nicole was very patient in showing me how every button and feature worked and the recommended settings. I am certain that she does that every day and many times a day, but she treated me like I was her first student. She took her time and made me feel valued and appreciated. Her after-sale treatment of me spoke volumes about this unfamiliar-to-me dealership. She was a tribute to World Subaru. Dennis quoted a fair deal and the negotiation was really a 45-minute conversation rather than an adversarial event. After some back-and-forth, we both were happy with the final price. I walked away from the transaction satisfied. Michael Warnock, Finance, made the paperwork part run smoothly. He exposed some "extras" that I could elect but he was not high-pressure at all. He was simply providing information - not really selling. I generally purchase a new car, on average, every 18-24 months, so this process is not new to me. Although my most-recent vehicle was a 2015 VW Passat (my first VW and a mistake, which fortunately was returned to VW on a forced US Government recall), I owned only Chevys, Fords and Lincolns for the past 50 years. The Subaru Legacy that I have purchased seems very reliable, well-built and has a lot of atypical safety equipment. This is definitely a very safe vehicle. I believe that I will be happy with the vehicle but I feel even-more confident that, if there is a problem, this dealer will mitigate any issues. I recommend that you consider Dennis if you like the Subaru. More

That was the ultimate decision-maker for us. The pick up was very long -- over three hours. We wish it could have been much shorter, but it was the day after Christmas and the dealership was very busy. Not thrilled about the "principal's office" visit at the end. Not Michael's fault, who was very professional, but the add-ons felt forced and put us over our budget. The "Price" rating below is reflective of the add-ons. The dealership gave us an excellent price on our trade-in and worked with us on the lease price. More

Went in for an oil change and I came out with a 2017 Outback There was no pressure, I purchase my 2011 Outback from them and I always stop by to see Girsh and he told me about the end of year deal, 0% financing. We took a 2017 Outback for a test drive and I fell in love with it. Ride better than my 2011 and all the new safety features, blind spots, lane departure, and so much more. Driving 200 miles a day to work, those safety features will be a blessing. So by the time my oil change was done, we settles on a trade in value for my old car and a price on my new car. Girsh and Mike was very professional and not once did I feel pressure in buying the car. They just gave me a great deal that I couldn't pass up. Post sales, Nicole S. sat down with me in the car and went over all the new features of it and answer all my questions on how to use them. She too was very professional. When it's time to by a car again, I will be going back to World Subaru and work with Girsh, Mike, and Nicole. Thank you, Patrick G. More

He referred me to a salesperson named Girsh Berman who met me from the minute I walked into the dealership. Girsh was friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. He knew that I was working with a budget and came in to see a specific car. He inquired about my interest in a new car, but then knew where I stood when I explained all of my reasons for choosing a CPO. Girsh respected my choice and led me through the buying process. He even helped me search for a great deal on car insurance and gave me 3 mos of free satellite radio. Nicole Sciamarelli helped set me up in my new ride while the manger Michael Warnock helped me secure an additional warranty that was worth my while. Overall, I had a great buying experience and I;m loving my new Subie :) More
