I bought a truck that had illegal tint and the tires stuck out past the wheel wells. Knowing this, they put an inspection sticker on it anyway. The following year when I had an issue getting it inspecte stuck out past the wheel wells. Knowing this, they put an inspection sticker on it anyway. The following year when I had an issue getting it inspected in my area I went back to Tim's and they put another inspection sticker on it knowing the violations. This year I returned to Tim's and they wouldn't pass it. The service manager told me that they had documentation that they had removed the tint and implied that I had put it on which was a lie. So they also clearly falsified their documentation. Then when I had them patch a couple of nail holes in my tires they broke one of the tire pressure sensors and then asked if I wanted it fixed. I was later told they fixed it "free of charge." Mighty nice of them to fix what they broke for free. After I left, my truck has a really bad front end shake and the drivers side tire has annoying scratching sound coming from it. When I made it home, I realized that had they neglected to put my registration back in my truck and now have to mail it to me. Needless to say I wouldn't buy another truck from Tim's or have them service my truck. More

Bought a car with a clunking sound. Mechanics tried to fix it after multiple times in and out of their service department and never did an alignment when replacing suspension parts as t Mechanics tried to fix it after multiple times in and out of their service department and never did an alignment when replacing suspension parts as they absolutely should have. They then argued with me that they didn’t need to do an alignment (spoke with other certified mechanics to confirm this is untrue). The missed alignment cause my back tires to wear and cause swaying driving down highway (I have two kids I want safe in my car with me). They said they would talk about getting a reimbursement for my tires and I never heard back from them. Have tried to be in contact with both GMs, Jeff and Liz multiple times over the span of about TWO MONTHS trying to set up an in person meeting. After spending over $40,000 in one day on my husbands and my car, I have heard nothing back from either of them. Absolutely horrible experience with this entire dealership and will absolutely make sure to tell everyone I know don’t waste their time or money. Worst dealership I’ve ever dealt with. More

This situation is regarding the service department, not sales, but I am unable to select service as my reason for my visit(?). I brought the Chevy truck that I purchased at Tim's to the service department sales, but I am unable to select service as my reason for my visit(?). I brought the Chevy truck that I purchased at Tim's to the service department for diagnosis and repair of a vibration when applying the brakes. I was contacted and told it was in the rear brakes and though they were not worn out, they would have to be replaced to fix the problem. I verbally authorized the repair (I was out of town). When I returned, I was told the vibration was still there (?) and the problem was in the driveline, and for $500+ they could take it to a third-party shop that specialized in driveline work. I am personally familiar with the shop they referenced, so I took my truck to them independently. Two different people there inspected the driveline and took the truck for a test drive and rendered the opinion that the problem was in the front brakes (the front brakes were replaced prior to the sale at Tim's shop). I made an appointment and took the truck back to Tim's shop and told them that the third party that they referenced thought the problem was (front brakes). They checked it out and said the problem was the rear brake rotors and they were going to replace them under warranty. They did this and road-tested the truck; it did not correct the problem. They then said the problem was in the front brakes and they were going to replace them. Finally, this corrected the problem. Quite frankly, I feel that if the problem was properly diagnosed the first time, the front brakes should have been replaced under shop warranty (as they ultimately were) and the issue would have been resolved. What I have an issue with is that the diagnosis of it being a rear brake problem was incorrect and the rear brakes that may have been still serviceable were replaced at a cost of over $400, the perceived problem of a driveline problem was incorrect, when presented with the opinion of the third party regarding the front brakes they ignored it and replaced components of the rear brakes again. In addition to the repair bill for the rear brakes, I have half a day lost taking the truck to the third-party shop and half a day while it was worked on the second time and finally fixed. More

Purchased a truck and had a slight misunderstanding during the paperwork process. The team a Tims worked to make it right. Drove the truck home, next day found an issue, they promptly picked it up a f during the paperwork process. The team a Tims worked to make it right. Drove the truck home, next day found an issue, they promptly picked it up a fixed it. Although there does appear to be a coolant issue that may need attention, John, Jeff, Keith and a young lady whose name I can't remember involving the title were very accommodating. Amber in service did excellent in resolving the cooling lines issue. Kudos to the team for taking care of the customer with the integrity that you would hope for when there is an issue More
