Since 2020, Coastal KIA has provided my family and I outstanding service, and we thank you. Although I fear leaving someone out from this last weekend's service, I'll give it a shot anyway. I called M outstanding service, and we thank you. Although I fear leaving someone out from this last weekend's service, I'll give it a shot anyway. I called Mr. Tomlin late last week from the road, seeking any early appointment Saturday (3/8) and he gladly fit me in, stating he wouldn't be working Saturday, but I'd be in good hands none-the-less. Upon entering, Mr. Nelson & Mr. Weisman greeted me by name, although both were involved with other customers at the time (oh, and although they weren't there Saturday, both Mr. Wigger & Mr. Kirschner always makes a point to greet me). Mr. Gorkey stepped in and asked if he could be of service, and he patiently listened to my concerns, assuring me he'd take care of everything AND throw in a free car wash! Ed was the shuttle driver that day and he graciously gave me a lift home...and again back to the dealership later in the day when I called. I appreciate his kindness and help, as do I David (who has given me rides in the past). Ms. Best was the one who called me later in the day to inform me my car was ready, and upon arrival, Mr. Gorkey checked me out. The result? No charge!...AND a free car wash! I could, should say more, but alas...I've got to get back to work myself! All that to say, "Thank you!" for your professionalism, your customer service, your clean & friendly facility, and fresh coffee! You've got my business! Blessings to the Coastal KIA family in 2025. For over a week, while we had a rental card, we got the run around from the service department first saying that there was nothing wrong with the car and then servicing it and charging over $200. Then, w run around from the service department first saying that there was nothing wrong with the car and then servicing it and charging over $200. Then, when we tried to pay those charges with a credit card were unable to over the phone. We are in our 80's and were unfamiliar with the payment method option offered and not comfortable with doing it. Ended up allowing us to send a check with the tow truck operator who was returning our vehicle to our residence in Ocean Isle Beach. When the car was returned, it was discovered that all of the maintenance records we had sent with the car were not returned and when we called to inquire of their whereabouts were told they could not be found. This will prove to be a a detriment when we decide to trade or sell this Kia. .The only positive with dealing with your service dept. was the effort that Marquita extended to us. More
