My tire warning light was on and I thought that I just needed air in my tire (has happened before with temperature/season change). I pulled into the service area and didn't think they were open. I could needed air in my tire (has happened before with temperature/season change). I pulled into the service area and didn't think they were open. I couldn't find anyone around. All booths were empty and there were no cars at all in the area that you pull up to for service. I went into the service dept. and asked a very friendly young lady (Alyssa) if they were open. She came out of her office to help me find someone. Just as she did, a man showed up to his booth. He was the only person in any booth. The conversation was: Me: "I just need air in my tire" Booth Employee: "Do you have an appointment?" Me: Seriously? I need an appointment to put air in my tire? Booth Employee: Yes, because other people are here with appointments. Me: Just for air? your kidding me? I need an appointment? Your other Honda locations have never done this just for air. Booth Employee: Yes, I don't know if they can squeeze you in. I walked away and went into the service dept. I sat down (in 1 of the 25 chairs that only had 3 other people in them). Knowing I was annoyed, I believe Alyssa let her manager know because Mark came out to greet me and took me into his office to find out about my situation. Long story short, my normal yearly weather change was not the reason for needing air. Apparently my tires were very old with dry rot. Mark was extremally accommodating. I really thought now that I had to make an appointment and come back. But, he took care of everything right then. Yes, I did have a wait that was expected considering but Alyssa and Mark went above and beyond with excellent customer service. Mark with my needs and Alyssa with consistently checking in with me to let me know where they were at with my car. The only negative that I have is to perhaps train the booth employee. I'm assuming he was new? More
