John Mclean is a Rock Star Salesman and most especially because he does not even know he is. John is absolutely brilliant without a shred of pretentiousness. He picked out the car I would drive away in the because he does not even know he is. John is absolutely brilliant without a shred of pretentiousness. He picked out the car I would drive away in the first time we met- it took me two weeks and several days of test driving numerous other cars before I caught on to what he saw the first day. John listened to my words- paid attention to my tones and enthusiasm after test drives and was spot on!! All while being friendly personable and genuinely enjoyable to be around. Well done! Thank You!! Brattleboro Subaru has the entire package going on - from sales to finance and administration to service and all telephone and internet interaction - this dealership is Stellar ***** More

Utterly un-professionalism at Brattleboro Subaru. I’m single father looking to buy a Subaru for my daughter Alanis, for the record we as a family have owned several Subaru’s throughout the years. My daug single father looking to buy a Subaru for my daughter Alanis, for the record we as a family have owned several Subaru’s throughout the years. My daughter Alanis found her ideal Subaru, with its safety features, color, price point etc. I called and initially spoke to Marie Cook who later told me the car was no longer available, that the car was going to be purchased by someone else and it was confirmed. It seemed she was giving favoritism but I understood that happens perhaps it a returning buyer. I told my daughter obviously she was disappointed. Today 5 days later my daughter tells me the Subaru still there available on Autotrader and on Brattleboro Subaru website, excited I called back I asked to speak with a manager and was connected with Luke Higley (sales manager) in hopes for a straight answer and in hopes to buy this car today, instead I got a manager who too gave me a conflicting story telling me yes I was told the car was sold 5 days ago but the car still there and still shows available because “the buyer” now an employee who works there hadn’t finished the loan application. I say contradicting stories because Manager Luke tells me they have a policy of first come first serve yet that is not true because I was the first buyer who wanted to buy this Subaru Outback when I first spoke to saleswoman Marie Cook. As a buyer who’s family bought and now owned several Subaru’s and as a single father trying to buy yet another Subaru for my daughter I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of professionalism, lack of integrity and lack of forthcoming from now two employees at Brattleboro Subaru. Signed: Joel. Disappointed father and daughter. Fyi - I just found that Luke Higley also gave me conflicting information when I asked him for the name of their General Manager, Luke gave me the name of John Chiesa their GM. I saw the list of employee name for Brattleboro Subaru and there’s no “GM John Chiesa” only a Christian Chiesa and a John McFeeley, nothing about a “John Chiesa” that works there which is who “sales manager Luke Higley” told me it was. Again more contradicting information. Yes once again I’m utterly disappointed. More

We Feel Good About The Process and Our Purchase We just recently purchased a new Outback. We preferred the 3.6 engine and there were only a few models available in our area so we did contact Brattl We just recently purchased a new Outback. We preferred the 3.6 engine and there were only a few models available in our area so we did contact Brattleboro Subaru even though they are located 70 miles from home. We started with email and unlike some other dealerships there was no push for a phone contact or "must come in" to see what they could do. Marie wrote back and said they had a new 2018 and she told me an amount they would take off the MSRP for starters and would work from that amount.. A 2019 was available but they would not be able to reduce it as much. All straightforward answers to my questions. There was no pressure to come in or even to call. It was worth a drive over. The car was what we wanted in a very nice color, We ended up spending a bit more than we had hoped, but after the process and before we signed anything, my wife and I both felt we had done as well as we could for the vehicle we were purchasing and that the dealership had made a reasonable and fair profit. It was a pleasant experience and we are quite satisfied. More

No issues with 2018 Forester 1st service Used coupons on "MySubaru.com" to reduce the cost of oil change and for a free car wash. Service bill was reasonable for vehicle 1st service (5600 mi Used coupons on "MySubaru.com" to reduce the cost of oil change and for a free car wash. Service bill was reasonable for vehicle 1st service (5600 mi oil/filter change, tire rotation/inspection and brake inspection). Question about a difficulty in setting the 2018 Forester power gate lift height memory switch was better resolved by viewing an online YouTube video posted by another Subaru dealership. There may have been some confusion between the procedure explanation for the Forester and similar Outback model lift gate procedures. When I got home and attempted to change the vehicle gate height per instructed procedure it would not remember a new height. After watching the YouTube Forester Set Gate Memory Height procedure, I was able to successfully adjust the gate height memory to a new height. More
