I’ve been waiting to leave a review because I had concerns with the car I bought and wanted to see what the outcome would be…but after being as excited as I’ve ever been for anything, I don’t even wa concerns with the car I bought and wanted to see what the outcome would be…but after being as excited as I’ve ever been for anything, I don’t even want to go pick up the car today. I worked with a guy named Brian Capstraw and I’m not even sure he’s a salesman, as he’s not listed on their website. That alone is shady. He didn’t seem to know any answer to any question I asked. He kept going back to some Rob guy, then wouldn’t provide me with a clear answer. He also lied to me numerous times. When they told me a $17,000 car would be $400 a month, with $10,000 put down, it made no sense and I tried to leave. Brian put the pressure on. I told them I’d give them $10,000 cash, they give me $7,000 for my car, and we call it a day. Brian said they didn’t want to take so much down, so give them $7,000. I asked if I was getting $7,000 for my car. He said yes. I thought I’d be financed for like $4k-$6k tops. That was the whole point in doing this. A new, safer car, that is very affordable. I then made the mistake of telling this guy I was emotional about giving up my car because my Mom bought it for me as a graduation gift from college and she had just passed away…he used my emotions against me. He offered me a whole bunch of warranties and I told him I shouldn’t need warranties in the first 3 years of owning a 2021 car with less than 40k miles on it. Later on he said, “oh yeah, you’ll get all the warranties,” as if they were included. I then found out I was charged for the warranties and I have to drive to Syracuse to use the warranties and can’t go to Maguire in Canandaigua. I also realized these warranties don’t truly cover anything, you pay for the warranty and still have to pay like $300 for the service each time you bring it in. When we went to sign the paperwork I asked him how the car went from $17k to $23k? He said the $23k was the original price of the car if it was brand new. Made no sense to me. I wanted to walk, but he already had my down payment. He was also on the phone with the insurance company and wouldn’t pay attention to my questions or what was going on. The test drive was maybe one mile total. It’s like he didn’t want me to see/hear the problems with the car. I noticed the connection through blu-tooth and apple car play was not working. He said it was a blown speaker sounding distorted and he’d have it replaced before I left. They replaced it. It wasn’t the speaker though. On the way home and in the preceding month I noticed all sorts of problems with this car that make it more of a “lemon” than a “car.” I tried to handle it properly by going to them and asking them to look at it. I will say the GM Brandon is very nice and seemed reasonable, but no matter who I talk to the blame is put on me. I was told it’s my cell phone, even thought I’ve tried different phone, different wires, and even an entirely different vehicle (the rental they gave me) and it doesn’t happen anywhere but the vehicle I bought. I also noticed it said I’m getting 10 MPG all of a sudden. The guy told me “that’s normal” and blamed my driving habits. For a 2021 Nissan Sentra 4-cylinder with only 38k miles on it? I’ve never heard of that. If that’s normal for these cars, Nissan should be put out of business and just stop producing cars. I had a 6-cylinder Chrysler that got at least 22-23 MPG. xxxx, the SUV I have for a rental right now is getting at least that too. The tire pressure sensor system doesn’t work properly, but they said that’s normal…even though it’s not happening in the SUV they rented to me. This whole experience has devastated me. I’m a substance abuse counselor. I’m single and have no family to speak of anymore. I’m trying to set up a decent life for myself and do the right thing, while helping my community. I feel like this is going to financial xxxx me over in ways I didn’t expect or want, or plan for. I would not recommend anybody go here. More

A friend of mine from Maguire Chevrolet booked my appointment I was supposed to get the friends and family discount, what ended up supposed to be being $104 oil change turned out to be a $400 and cha appointment I was supposed to get the friends and family discount, what ended up supposed to be being $104 oil change turned out to be a $400 and change Bill and nobody ever told me about a percentage fee if I used my credit card until it was too late and I had no choice because who carries $400 in cash them, no one. There was work done to my car that did not need to be done, and I was not informed, and my friend at Maguire Chevrolet agreed that there's no way they should've flushed my brake line, when I only had 15,000 miles on my car because I just bought it a year ago . I also ordered WeatherTech mats, and the representative Ben in parts ordered the wrong mats twice. Sorry, but there is no way I can make this a short version. More
