RC M, we are so sorry to hear that your experiences with service lately have been sub-par and we appreciate your feedback. We can empathize with your frustrations, but we want to reiterate that the issues you’re noting are normal on an MDX Type S. The turbo on the Type S is by default, a bit louder than the non “S” model MDX and the leather issue you note is typical wear for leather seats in an MDX. We can reference other pre-owned models in stock that display similar wear as they get driven. We wish there was more that could be done to resolve these issues but unfortunately, these are not items that Acura will warranty. That is not true. It’s not the turbo spooling nor the loud noise I’m talking about. It’s the high pitch whining/whistling noise that many other MDX owners are experiencing. Even on non Type-S models too. Since you did not even attempt to diagnose, you would not know. Just google about 2022+ MDX making whining noise and you find a lot of blogs where some dealers are putting efforts to identify the issue. Wrinkles on leather seats, again, I can show you the pictures of the car before delivery which has wrinkles and waves on the piping. Again, my car has just 4k miles on it. It’s funny you are saying it’s normal while it’s not. Yes, it is normal on a 3-4yrs old car. But not on 2023 with 4k Miles. Again, other MDX owners are having similar issues and their dealers are taking care of them. I’m really disappointed by the responses and excuses I’m hearing from Goodson Acura. Basic diagnosis is not being done.
