Initially I was beyond impressed with CBB. But as the days have gone on, I’ve became more and more unimpressed. I am out of state, and therefore I was purchasing a vehicle sight unseen. Trusti But as the days have gone on, I’ve became more and more unimpressed. I am out of state, and therefore I was purchasing a vehicle sight unseen. Trusting the images online, as well as the video the salesman emailed me. The salesman was very efficient and responded quickly. Made the process very easy. Even financing as a breeze. And they were quick to arrange transportation to my home the very next day. Like I said, very impressed. However, things then started to take a turn. While going through the motions, I was encouraged to place a hold on the vehicle so that way nobody else could buy it out from under us since we are out of state and the process can take longer. So I did. I was told the $2,000 would just be placed on hold and that the money would be refunded as soon as the deal funded. That was untrue. The deal funded, and I had to remind them to release the funds. It’s a week before Christmas after all. They said they would process it ASAP. Apparently ASAP meant 3 days later. However, not only did they refund my card… they then charged it again. So now I’m in the works with my bank to ensure the second “hold” does not in fact process. They have held $2,000 of my money for a week now. Next, when the vehicle arrived to my home, the gas tank was just about empty. What happened to the days of the dealer topping off the vehicle when sold? And to make matters worse, the check engine light was on. I contacted the dealer and was reassured that the salesman and the manger personally inspected the vehicle and the light was not on. The vehicle is barely broken in, there is absolutely no reason for the check engine light to be on. After getting that sorted out, now the vehicle is alerting me that the oil level is low. It has me questioning just how well the service department actually checked the vehicle. It also has me wondering if this is why it was so easy to make a deal and they were quick and efficient. More
