Hi Dan, Thank you for your response. I appreciate the acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation. Given that, I would prefer to keep all communication in writing so there is a clear and accurate record of what is discussed. As outlined previously, this matter is not about general dissatisfaction, but rather about pre-existing mechanical and critical safety related issues, including the brake line rupture when my 16 year old son was driving and the ongoing heavy oil leakage from the Valve Covers, and Suspension Failure. Based on the dealership’s own statements, the vehicle was inspected for retail sale and routed through your affiliated Land Rover service department and Tom Wood Nissan Service department for conditioning prior to being offered for sale. Given that process, I am requesting a direct explanation as to how a vehicle with severe brake line corrosion, active oil leakage, and a suspension fault was approved for retail sale following that inspection process by brand affiliated certified service technicians? These are not subtle or developing issues, they are readily identifiable conditions that would be expected to be identified during any competent pre-sale inspection. I remain open to resolving this matter directly and professionally, and I am seeking reimbursement of the $1700 brake line replacement, and repairs of the remaining issues at the dealerships expense or, complete rescission of the transaction. I am willing to review any proposed resolution you would like to provide here. Thank you, Michael Hutton
