I went for an oil change appointment. While there I was informed that there was a recall to update the AVN. It would take 2 hours. I said that I haven't received any recalls. I was told i While there I was informed that there was a recall to update the AVN. It would take 2 hours. I said that I haven't received any recalls. I was told it was normal for recalls not to be received. I explained that I've received all the previous ones. While waiting I researched for the recall, but could find one for my Palisade. The only AVN recall was for the 2024 Sante Fe. After about 2 hours I walked around the outside of the dealership. I saw my Palisade parked with the engine running. The infotainment screen showed a message indicating the update was complete. I went to the service department and explained that I found my car running outside. I asked if it was necessary to have it running for 2 hours during the update. He said, that only the power needs to be on. I informed him that it appears the update is done. He didn't do anything or inform anyone. I waited about 15 minutes and went outside and my Palisade was still running. I went back in and informed him that it's still there running. I waited, but he did nothing. I went back up to him and told him that he needs to have someone check my vehicle. The update appears to be done and it's been running for over 2 hours. He finally left and went into the shop. He came back and told me my car was almost done. 10 minutes later they pulled my Palisade up. I looked at the paperwork and researched it again and still can't find any recall associated with my vehicle. I have just updated the infotainment software in September. More

I have seen Justin for my car maintenance for years now and have always been glad with the service he and the service department have provided. This past time, It took over two hours for a regular service and have always been glad with the service he and the service department have provided. This past time, It took over two hours for a regular service appointment and normally the front of my car is tidied and vacuumed, but that wasn’t the case this time. I also noticed a scratch looking smear on my windshield that was not there when I came in. The rubber smear appeared to be from for instance, a brush that you would use to clean the windshield, however, just the bottom of the windshield was cleaned off, but the top half looked untouched. For an over two hour appointment just to get an oil change in a tire rotation. I would’ve expected better on their end for the condition of my car getting it back with regard to how I had got it back on all prior service appointments with a vacuumed and tidied front interior, and rinsed exterior of the car. In addition, the oil changes went up in price. Normally, I’m happy with the service, timeliness, and condition of my car after the service appointment. However, this time I was a little less satisfied with the Timeliness and condition my car was returned in compared to other service appointments and the top-notch service I had gotten used to. I never take my car anywhere besides Saint Augustine, Hyundai because I’ve always been so happy with the superior quality service. This time my experience was not up to par. More
