I have purchased 2 cars from this dealership in the last 5 years, mostly due to the honesty and leadership from this dealership. I actually live 20 minutes from a dealership but never received the promptness and courtesy as I receive here @ Universal Nissan. From maintenance to salesmanship and everyone else that works there you’re made to feel at home. All work received was done in a professional and timely manner, and appointments are readily accessible when I need them. I feel like family when I’m there and definitely well respected. More

Universal Nissan=Dirty DealersHave you heard of Universal Nissan=Dirty Dealers Have you heard of catfishing? Is it ever right? That is how Universal Nissan prides itself on working. My parents w Universal Nissan=Dirty Dealers Have you heard of catfishing? Is it ever right? That is how Universal Nissan prides itself on working. My parents were in need of a car and were shopping on-line due to the “Pandemic” situation. They worked with an internet sales representative, Glenda Mendoza, from Universal Nissan. Glenda got them the price they were looking for to make a deal. She set up an appointment for my parents to go in, see the car, and sign the paperwork. The following morning my dad goes into the dealership for his appointment with Glenda and much to his surprise no one knows who this lady is. That is ok though because he has all the information that she sent to him. He speaks with a sales person, gives him the vin# of the vehicle he is supposed to be buying and…..wait for it…..what?!?! that vehicle has been sold days prior and is not on the lot. Let me give you the time frame. Glenda made the appointment at 9pm at dealership closing time for 11am the next day. How on earth could that vehicle be gone and sold before my dad got there for his appointment?!?! The salesman asked my dad if he could show him a vehicle of equal features at agreed or close to agreed upon price. My dad said yes and waited roughly 45 minutes to be offered an equal vehicle for over $5,000 more than the agreed upon price that got him into the dealership. What a deal!!! A dirty deal!!! Great Job Nissan!!! Bring in your elderly customers in the middle of a Pandemic so you can screw them over!!!! Above is the problem. Catfishing is never right! Here is how Universal Nissan handles its problems. Livid about the situation, we then call Universal Nissan and ask to speak with a manager. We speak with the internet sales manager; Rebecca. Rebecca listens to the situation, apologizes for the situation and asked if she can make this right. She assures us she will find us another vehicle and honor the agreed upon pricing by the end of the day. She keeps us updated throughout the day with no luck on findings. She tells us she will not be in the following day but assures us her team will continue to work on the issue and make things right. We do not hear back from Universal Nissan. We call back several times in which we are hung up on, put on hold, and told we are still looking. At this point it has been over a week. We ask to speak to a higher manager and advise the dealership that an honest review is about to be submitted against a company that prides themselves / advertises the best prices around with the highest customer service. We are passed along to John Booth, assistant director of sales for Universal Nissan. John hears us out and asks for 30 minutes to verify what we have told him. He calls us back within 10 minutes. Clearly, he knows what we have said are factual statements. He then says he will try his best to rectify the situation. He sees the pricing Glenda has offered and states that technically internet sales people are not authorized to negotiate pricing. So why on earth are these internet sales people then giving any pricing and bringing people in to the dealership under false pretenses. DO NOT give people a PRICE if you cannot HONOR IT!!! Especially bringing in elderly customers into a public space for hours during a Pandemic!!! THIS IS WRONG!!! John then gets an attitude after hearing our frustrations and says he will call us back with his best pricing on a newer model of the car we are looking for. He calls us back with a price higher than the MSRP. GREAT JOB UNIVERSAL NISSAN!!! As they say, it starts from the top!!! Great job John Booth!!! You have just lost customers for Nissan for LIFE. We have taken our business elsewhere. No Dirty Dealers for Us!!! More
