Easiest car buying experience ever I recently used Continental Toyota in Hodgkins, for the purchase of my new 2017 Toyota RAV4. I had a 2 car trade in deal which most of you know c I recently used Continental Toyota in Hodgkins, for the purchase of my new 2017 Toyota RAV4. I had a 2 car trade in deal which most of you know can become quite complicated . My contact at the dealer for the preliminary work was Andrea McNamera in the BDC department . Andrea made the entire buying process easy & extremely convenient for me & my husband. Andrea went above and beyond to get me top dollar for my 2 trades & to get me the absolute BEST deal on my RAV4. When the time came to come into the dealership , my salesman was John Cheung. John is one of the nicest & most honest car salesman I've ever worked with. John had all the paperwork and the car ready for me when we came to the dealership. He took the extra time to go over all the available features & safety options on my RAV4. I would highly recommend both Andrea & John to any family or friends that maybe in the market for a new car ! I am absolutely loving my new RAV4 & when the time comes again to get another vehicle Continental Toyota will definitely be my first to turn to. Their store manager Joe Miglio is awesome too! More

Most Dishonest, Nasty & General Sales Mgr. BEYOND BELIEF! This is a somewhat long review, so if you want to find out the behavior & actions of Joe Migliio, skip a few paragraphs for a true, scathing expose o This is a somewhat long review, so if you want to find out the behavior & actions of Joe Migliio, skip a few paragraphs for a true, scathing expose of this General Manager / Owner of this business . I went through the Costco Auto Program's upper level Customer Advocates to find me the color Camry SE with NO options, including NO floor mats, as I could pay half their price for superior mats. Their employee whose function is to find a dealership closest to your area that has the exact car you want. Due to Costco's very poorly devised program, dealer prices may vary, according to the Advocate by a "small amount." But, this same Advocate promised to get the vehicle for the same price to match another dealer (who got a car from another dealer, & failed to find a dent in a molding, a 10" circle in the middle of the hood where the paint was not acceptable, & would not obtain another car when the salesman was instructed by the Sales Manager to look over the 4 identical cars this dealership had, & make certain the vehicle he brought back was pristine with no flaws or issues, but he obviously failed to properly examine it.) When I get a call from the Costco Customer Advocate, he tells me it will be $100 more from Continental, but he will give me a $100 Costco Gift Card to compensate. I told him this was NOT what he promised. He specifically stated that "I have the muscle & ability to get the car for the same price from the dealership we find it at." This type of cagey falsehood is an issue with Costco to be addressed elsewhere. Back to Continental. I am told to contact Dean Rio, salesman at Continental. He was very pleasant and helpful. However, he turned in an instant when I questioned an additional County tax, outside my county, but in their dealership's county. After doing all the research I could on Illinois Vehicle Taxes, I found NOTHING about Cook County charging an extra percentage. You get taxed at the County rate that you live in. So, as ANY astute person would have done, I questioned that I was being given false information. Mr. Rio exploded and screamed that I was calling him a liar, and that he will not tolerate this from anyone, and proceeded to hang up on me. And, then, Dean Rio has the nerve to email me that "at this point the car is available for anyone to look at, test drive & purchase," when he promised this car to be kept parked in a corner where it would be totally untouched by another vehicle or buyer, and kept for me. At this point, I made the mistake of calling Joe Miglio. He was rude, condescending, confrontative, & then sends me a new quote. Shockingly, this quote included mats. When I called him on this, he stated that the car, represented by both his salesman and Costco as priced without mats, had mats (charge of $249), & stated, "You except me to lose $100 on mats? It's not going to happen. That's the deal; take it or leave it." When I pointed out to him that the deal through Dean Rio was without mats, at a certain price, that he should be honoring it, and there should be no games like this played, he responded nastily, "Then you should have taken the deal at that time." UNBELIEVABLE! Miglio knew, because I foolishly told him, that I had a rental car costing me $40 a day, so he thought he had be by the b*lls. After this unpleasant phone call, where he treated me like a kicked yard dog, I left him voice mail, stating I wanted this deal to work as originally promised that this needed to be worked out, and that he needed to display the INTEGRITY to honor his salesman's price, he simply ignored my voice mail. I told the Costco Advocate what had transpired, and that they needed to get this honored, as they said they are able to MAKE dealers do. But that is only a LIE from Costco Advocate. Two Advocates were involved at this point. This was early AM, before the dealership opened; he was to call & leave a message that Joe Miglio call as soon as he gets in, as this needed to be addressed & was highly time-sensitive. He is told Miglio would not be in until 1pm, & would contact him as soon as he came in. I believe purposely & out of nasty spite, to delay this, as I told Miglio my weekly rental had to be returned that day, or I would be paying not just more, but higher daily prices; so he doesn't return the call from Costco until after 3:30 (maybe 4:00pm), only to tell them that he was not honoring his salesman's price, and that was it. He knew this was a 45 mile drive for me, and, unlike almost ANY dealership, did not offer to come and pick me up either. Continental's wonderful experience - a total and complete FARCE. This was on Monday, July 10th, after receiving the abuse from Miglio on Saturday. The car was promised by Miglio to be held until Weds., July 12th. I'm more clever than Miglio knew, and I called Toyota, who is able to look deep into their system and find out if a car is still in inventory or not, and they found the car WAS SOLD on Monday! That's what Joe Miglio did to me, and per Toyota, lied to me when they had already sold the car after telling Costco that it was being held, and would be held until Weds. Take this information on Joe Miglio, and decide on this horrendous experience of insults, abuse, dishonesty, condescension, and sabotage as a true picture of this man; and NOT the meaningless way he portrays himself on the many negative reviews on his dealership on this site. I was able, ON MY OWN, to find a perfect car, in the exact color, at a dealership that were as friendly and down to earth, beyond what I every expected from any car dealer. Their prep team detailed it with such care, and seemed to have pride in their job, looking at and treating the car as if it were their own. To go from a dealer who treated me like a dog to be kicked around, it was such a refreshing and pleasant experience to be treated with the highest respect, wanting to please in any way they could. Joe Miglio? One word describes his treatment - DESIPICABLE. More

Immediately after we took delivery we realized that one of the features that had been advertised as standard on this model was not included. I called the dealer several times to try to arrange a resolution, but found them unresponsive - slow to return calls if returned at all, and unwilling to show any creativity to solve the problem. It was a big disappointment in an otherwise smooth purchase. At the end of the day, a new car purchase is pretty much a commodity, so service is where dealers need to differentiate themselves. I would not purchase another car from them. More

I remember as I got older, both of them telling me, when it's time for you to buy your first car find a dealership you can trust. From top to bottom, you must feel comfortable with every aspect of the business. Trust is the most important thing. I have been a Continental Toyota customer for ten years. In that time I have purchased two vehicles and just started my first lease. I trust them because they treat me with respect and show me nothing but professionalism. Everyone that I have dealt with, has always been gracious and concerned about my needs and my questions. I take advantage of the full dealership and all it has to offer. I will go nowhere else for my cars. Continental Toyota has earned my trust and my loyality. More

Rich from Service made sure any issues were resolved in a timely manner and made sure I knew every step of the way. Rich did a great job and will my next appointment will be Rich.
