I took car in for water pump replacement. Tech dropped a socket into the hole and had to take apart the retrieve. I now have oil dripping from somewhere which was not a problem before service. There is also a bracket hanging in the engine compartment that did not get re attached to where it belongs. I had to jump through hoops to arrange rides so I could drop off the car, which they had for 2 days. I drove this car off of your showroom floor and have brought it to you for most service over the years. I have to admit my confidence in the shop has been shaken a bit. More

Rob Brown suggested I contact my insurance company. I was able to claim comprehensive damages. Hubler service techs took photos to document the damage and worked the insurance adjuster. The results- all good! More

I don't normally write negative reviews and I would like this one to be viewed as informational to those seeking service at Hubler Chevy. Overall they are good people, that is not criminal or out to cheat this one to be viewed as informational to those seeking service at Hubler Chevy. Overall they are good people, that is not criminal or out to cheat you. Still, they have a culture of arrogance which will not allow them to admit a mistake. Three times they were disrespectful to me. The first time involved a lower price oil change advertised by Hubler Chevy. When I went there to get the deal one of their representatives claimed there was no oil change deal and implied I was trying to scam or lie to them. As I was getting ready to leave they found out management had indeed put out that add but said it would take a while to get me into the system. They claimed I should have brought in the add and management should have but did not notify them. I throw up my hands and left given the lack of competence and disrespect shown. The second time involved a top of the line Traverse. It had a DVD player that squeaked at every little bump. Given the conditions of the road, it sang a toon. People that road with us would explained what is that noise! We took it in for the squeak, as I recall three times. It never was fixed and to this day I have no idea what they did to it because the toon never changed. They finally claimed they did what they could and we were just an overly critical customer that could not be satisfied. So, they did not have the competence to fix it properly therefore it must be the customers problem. Talk about incompetent and disrespectful. The final time was just recently. I had damage to the rubber boot under the car. I thought it was likely a fastener or the like that came loose. Instead of explaining how this might happen I was told I must have run off of the road and got stuck in a snow drift. These cars are rather low and this type of damage can happen due to a rock in the road or scraping a curb. I had to get with the service manage to find out what was actually going on. Not as bad as the first two but once again disrespectful. I decided not to put up with these insults again. I set up a face to face meeting with Jim Harden and the service manager. I explained the situation. I told the two if I did not get the 75 dollar fee they recently charged me returned, I would never darken their door again. They claimed they did nothing wrong and refused. So, they were willing to throw away a multi decade customer rather than admit they were wrong. Bad business decision for sure which makes me, once again, question their competence. If something like this happens to you, seeking other places to do business may be appropriate. More
