My 2004 Volvo S60-R did not pass the annual NY State inspection because of several issues with the car. I made an appointment with Prestige Volvo so that I could get the issues corrected. When I arrived, I received very prompt and courteous service. Everyone I met at Prestige was very professional. I was also able to watch TV and use free wireless internet while I was in the waiting room waiting for my car to be finished. Needless to say, after the mechanics at Prestige worked on my car, it was able to pass the New York State inspection without a problem. Matt Haiken and Jay Rosen were a pleasure to work with. I look forward to working with Prestige in the future. More

This review is a couple years late, but I felt that I should put up my praise for this dealership. We used to own a 2000 Volvo S80, and Prestige was the go to place whenever an issue arose. The waiting should put up my praise for this dealership. We used to own a 2000 Volvo S80, and Prestige was the go to place whenever an issue arose. The waiting area is very clean and comfortable, the service department was very friendly and informative, and the quality of their repairs is superb. On only one occasion did a repair not fix the problem, but they stand by their work and when we brought it back, it was properly repaired for free. The only thing is that the price can get a little pricey, but that's to be expected for a Volvo. It was our first upscale car, with all our other cars mostly being cheap American sedans, that were cheaper to fix but were far less luxurious and had much less build quality. Despite some repairs being quite costly, I never felt like I was swindled for more money; I always felt that the repairs were fair and necessary for a safer ride. The suggested repairs were always ones that were needed and important, showing that they care about our safety, and not money. I've never purchased a Volvo from here, so I can only comment on the service department, but I truly appreciated their dedication to quality and caring work. If I were to purchase another Volvo and live in the same area (I recently moved out of state) then there is no doubt as to where I would go for all my automotive needs. I am a returning customer to this dealer purely because of the helpful, quick, and kind customer service I have received for my Volvo C30. For example, my navigation was not turning up, however I could hea of the helpful, quick, and kind customer service I have received for my Volvo C30. For example, my navigation was not turning up, however I could hear that it had turned on, they were able to pop it up with a credit card and oil the rotaters but on top of that a new screen was ordered, under warranty, to prevent this problem from happening again. Another example, I brought my car in last Tuesday to have an estimate written up for some damage and the insurance adjuster spoke highly of the Service Manager, Jay Rosen. From doing business together the process went quick and smoothly, my car parts had been ordered and fixed in less than a week, all according to the estimated price. For new business or body repair, I would highly recommend using East Hanover, Prestige Volvo for great service and a friendly atmosphere. More

Jay Rosen service manager is one of the best! This morning I got the general manager of Prestige Volvo's follow-up email. Long story short, I had some problems with my brand new XC60 and got very disappointed with Volvo. So I contacted Volvo. T Volvo's follow-up email. Long story short, I had some problems with my brand new XC60 and got very disappointed with Volvo. So I contacted Volvo. The next day, the rep from Volvo called me. But to my surprise, the general manager of my dealer also contacted me. And actually, he and his team acted as the best middlemen I've ever seen. You know, it is always nice to have some people you can trust and count on when you get into trouble. Finally, you bet, this dealership became my favorite and most trust one. One of my friend even asked me to go to the dealer with him and immediately bought a XC90 in an hour. I believe it is not only because I recommended this dealer to my friends but also because they really are doing an excellent business. So, when I replied to his email, I decided to post the original one to the Dealerrater because I want to share my true experience and feeling about the dealer with more friends. The following is the original... Good morning Matt, I am so glad to receive your follow-up email! So far, everything is going well with the new car. Although I got a little pity, ha-ha, yet I can understand it when I put my feet into Volvo's shoes, and I can feel that Volvo did try to do something to show her care about customers. I recently purchased a certified Volvo XC70 from Prestige Volvo in East Hanover, NJ. The sales department staffs were courteous and candid. Jay Rosen the Service Manager was pleasure to interact with. While we've had many Volvo cars for over three decades Jay runs an exceptional service department. He was direct and professional. After the delivery Jay was eager to respond and offered prompt professional advice that was helpful and saved additional trips and my time. His demeanor has consistently been direct and very professional. While there are many other Volvo dealerships in nearby New York area I plan to use the prestige Volvo for my future needs. More

Each and every time I have had our Volvo XC90 serviced at Prestige, Mr. Rosen has gone out of his way to insure that the service was prompt, properly completed, and that any courtesy he could extend by way of a loaner vehicle, etc. were provided. He takes the time to explain the repairs needed and never makes me feel like he is “up-selling” me anything like I have experienced with numerous other dealerships. I find it refreshing that he takes the time to call the day after I pick up the vehicle to make sure that I am satisfied with the service and the condition of the car. I should also mention that the cleaning of the vehicle prior to pick up by your staff is a very nice touch which is sincerely appreciated.
