Body work I own a Chevy Silverado and I brought it to prestige this because I've seen work they have done on friends volvos (at a very reasonable cost). They took care of a scratch that one from the front of the truck all down the length and did a phenomenal job. I got my truck back looking brand new. Jay, the service manager, is extremely helpful and kept me updated on the progress of the truck. The Chevy dealership that I use for service issues can't even compare to Prestige in service and price. More

Purchase of the car was the easiest, hassle-free experience and the first time I purchased a car on my own! I told Debrorah Amster what I was looking for and at what price point. She produced a car from her inventory that was more than I expected, with low mileage, fully loaded. She has also made herself available for any question o concerns I have with using Navigation, phone, radio etc. More

Over the years, our family has purchased 4 and leased 1 Volvo from Prestige Volvo in East Hanover. My experience these past few days dealing with the service center can only be described as incredibly disappointing with the worst customer service I have ever encountered. When initially dropping my car off the night before, it was if I was bothering the service representatives. The next day I waited patiently for a phone call to inform me of “what the problem is” but no phone call was received. I had to call 4 times in order to obtain any information. Finally, I was told they couldn’t find anything wrong with the car. They were going to keep the car overnight which was fine so again the next day I waited for a phone call to let me know “what was wrong” and again no phone call. I called multiple times, being put on hold, getting answering machines and again finally when I became annoyed I was transferred to Bill. He did not have any answers for me, they couldn’t find anything wrong and “would call me right back” 3 hours later, still no call, I called again only getting voice mails of multiple service representatives. Finally calling again, I was able to speak with Jay, who was sincerely apologetic however they were still not able find what the matter with my car was as “no codes” came up and on test drives no difficulties were found. Would a phone call to let me know that they still couldn’t find a problem be an unreasonable request especially since less than 6 weeks before we spent a large sum of money on routine maintenance? I can understand in this day of technology not being able to troubleshoot the problem without a code being displayed but what I can’t understand is the profound lack of consideration and poor customer service. The courtesy of a phone call would have made all the difference. More

Shady service center Purchased my 2010 XC70 from Prestige Volvo (New) and have had most of the included service and warranty work performed here. I found the workmanship a Purchased my 2010 XC70 from Prestige Volvo (New) and have had most of the included service and warranty work performed here. I found the workmanship and customer service to be pretty poor since my vehicle required several return visits for the same problem (excessive road noise and wheel vibration) Prestige kept trying to sell me on tire rotation ($35) but the problem turned out to be a bad wheel bearing and defective drive axle (corrected by one visit to another volvo dealer) I have also had a similar problem with the tire pressure monitoring system and brakes. Prestige never fixed the problems correctly and now that my warranty has expired I'm stuck with the bill. I will never return to Prestige Volvo in East Hanover nor will I ever own another Volvo. More

Service Department is the BEST! Cannot comment on the sales aspect as have only used the Service Department, but they have always treated us with total regard for customer servicing Cannot comment on the sales aspect as have only used the Service Department, but they have always treated us with total regard for customer servicing (and again, did not buy the actual car from them!). The team from the reception to the responsiveness and most importantly, the work are completely professional and a pleasure to work with. Most recently had a crack develop in windshield with no detectable point of impact. Jay Rosen, Service Manager, looked at it right away and agreed that it was under warranty. This was with no hassel!! He was wonderful. Schedule appoints is made easy as is the shuttle provided after dropping off the car and for pick-up. This last time, they even drove the directly car to us! As a result of their servicing all under the 50,000 mile warranty so far, I will continue to trust them after the car maintenance is out of our pocket :) Cannot say enough about these folks and the honest, professional, excellent work they do and how they treat their customers as customers!!!! More
