I recently purchased a new truck from Northwest Chevrolet, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the outset, the transaction was riddled with issues, including incomplete and incorrect contracts, missing we-owe items, and multiple finance errors that have caused significant inconvenience and stress. Here’s a brief timeline of what I endured: On 11/18, I finalized the deal with Jake Stappart, and a we-owe was issued for fender flares. By 11/20, the truck arrived, but additional we-owe items were added for missing bed post caps, 5th wheel caps, and a 2" hitch sleeve. I exchanged emails with Jake regarding these items. On 11/25, I followed up with Jake about the we-owe items, and he responded that they were on order with no estimated arrival time. On 11/30, Jeff Tolsma contacted me about a missing GMC form. After spending 90 minutes on the phone with GMC to rectify the issue, I sent the required documents back to Jeff. However, there were no updates on the we-owe items. On 12/2, I received a call from Jeff Roquet explaining that the finance team made separate mistakes in the finance documents, necessitating a new contract. By 12/8, updated finance documents arrived with new payment amounts and dates, which I signed and returned via UPS the same day. On 12/9, I sent a follow-up email to Jake requesting the we-owe items and a copy of the new contract, but received no response. On 12/10, Jeff Roquet called again, requesting address verification and informing me that they needed to unlock my credit because they attempted another hard credit pull without notifying me. This unauthorized hard pull negatively impacted my credit score. Later that day, I emailed Jeff Tolsma with this timeline to date but received no response. On 12/11, Jake called to explain that the parts hadn’t been ordered because the finance deal wasn’t closed, which seems inaccurate. Orders were supposedly placed. Finally, on 12/19, I received the flares and 5th wheel cover. However, the hitch sleeve was incorrect—a Ford-branded 3"→2.5" sleeve instead of the GMC 2.5"→2" for the Sierra. The bed stake covers are still missing. I emailed Jake with an update but received no response. The lack of communication has been unbearable. Both Jeff and Jake have consistently failed to respond or provide meaningful updates, leaving me feeling ignored and frustrated. Despite numerous promises, several we-owe items were either missing or incorrect upon delivery. Additionally, your team attempted to run a hard credit pull without my knowledge or consent, which is a serious breach of trust and has adversely affected my credit score. The repeated mistakes in the finance documents have only added to the unnecessary complications and delays. The level of unprofessionalism and incompetence displayed by Northwest Chevrolet is appalling. My trust in this dealership has been completely shattered, and I strongly advise potential buyers to look elsewhere. Due to the dealership’s negligence, I will be purchasing the remaining parts from my local dealer and sharing this negative experience to prevent others from enduring similar frustrations. Customer service should be a priority for any business, especially in such significant transactions. Unfortunately, Northwest Chevrolet has failed miserably on every front. Save yourself the hassle and choose a dealership that values and respects its customers. More
