This was our first time purchasing a vehicle at Columbia. We were cautiously optimistic starting a new relationship at a dealership we were unfamiliar with. I must say it was a great experience! We were welcomed as we pulled into a parking space and everyone we came in contact with greeted us with a hello or a smile. Overall the experience was good, the only thing I can complain about was Eric. He did not know his rebates and was hesitate working with us. He seemed nervous and lacked confidence. Once we went back to working with Jake ( we had been working with him online and when we came in we were "passed" off to Eric) everything was great. Jake was honest and did everything possible to make the sale go smoothly. I will picking up my Kia Sorento tomorrow, 3/1, and cannot wait! I am very excited to drive my new Kia and work with this dealership. I also meet with one of the general managers, Chris, who was amazing as well. Overall, this experience was good. It would have been great except for the hiccup in the beginning when we first arrived, but Chris and Jake definitely made up for it. More

For me, car buying is always a harrowing experience. This time it was not. No pressure to upgrade, no pressure to BUY NOW, patience on the salesman's part, answers to all my questions and a straight answer w time it was not. No pressure to upgrade, no pressure to BUY NOW, patience on the salesman's part, answers to all my questions and a straight answer when he did not have the answer. His honesty was refreshing. Craig Gates has done a wonderful job in putting customer satisfaction and customer service first. The whole atmosphere of the dealership was customer oriented. It will be a pleasure to take a book in, sit in front of a fire on a comfortable couch and wait for my car to be serviced. Perhaps I will have a snack while I wait. Eric Miller was an outstanding customer service person. He is pleasant, engaging and knowledgeable without being pushy or aggressive. He went out of his way to accommodate me and be sensitive to my needs ie: time schedule etc. This was a very different experience, a pleasurable one. Thank you Craig Gates for making a dealership that responds to the customers needs and wants. More

Dealership personnel were a pleasure to deal with. I never like the process of purchasing a car, because I never feel like a "great" deal, and even this time I wonder if I could have done better on the never like the process of purchasing a car, because I never feel like a "great" deal, and even this time I wonder if I could have done better on the trade in by negotiating harder or selling it myself for a few thousand more. But....it was as pleasant or more pleasant than other sales transactions I've been involved with and would likely go back. The new purchase was 'eased' by my companys Ford X-plan which took lots of the "pain" out. Hal Miller the sales consultant was a pleasure to deal with, as was Matt in finance. Jake was my email contact literally for months and did a good enthusiastic job of following up without being a pest. I also visited a competitor in Hartford, and Columbia Ford just felt much more comfortable. One very minor issue; the truck railing cap has a piece that is not fully inserted and a discerning eye can see that the cap is not fully in. I'll likely try to get that addressed when I bring it in for an oil change. More

I did a lot of online shopping prior to actually going to the showroom. I shopped with many dealerships. Jake Guzier was attentive, but never pushy. When I finally arrived at the showroom on Saturday, Tony Mauro worked for several hours with me to find a way to make what I wanted to happen, happen. Dale also jumped in to offer suggestions, and the gentleman in finance (I'm sorry I don't remember his name) was very pleasant and efficient. (AND, the finance person at the last dealership I went to was what made me say I will never go there again.) Thank you for a great experience, and we'll see you soon for another purchase for my husband. More

Columbia Ford is probably one of the finast dealerships that my wife and I have done business with. Having purchased numerous Mustangs in our lives some dealerships give you the shudders when you go in. that my wife and I have done business with. Having purchased numerous Mustangs in our lives some dealerships give you the shudders when you go in. Columbia Ford makes you feel welcome and treats you like family. The atmosphere is one of comfort. Our sales rep, Eric Miller was more than helpful, in fact he bought us lunch. Eric had to make numerous trips back and forth throughout the day to complete the deal.
