Jacob Burns made my friend’s car buying experience simple, efficient and pleasant. He first evaluated what her wants and needs were in a vehicle and presented the best options to consider and highligh simple, efficient and pleasant. He first evaluated what her wants and needs were in a vehicle and presented the best options to consider and highlighted the features and benefits of each, allowing her to make an educated informed and appropriate selection. He presented the dealerships best and competitor beating offer up front on an easy to understand table that included all the estimated additional costs. Regarding the vehicle’s financing, He was honest and direct telling her that the financing package from her bank was more competitive than the dealerships in house sources. She was buying this car from her home in another state and he effectively and timely communicated throughout the process despite the hundreds of miles between her home and the dealership. She whole heartedly endorses Jacob as a fine sales consultant and good decent person to deal with in what is usually a torturous dreadful distasteful purchase process. More

This dealership understands their product AND they understand how to match that product to their customers. There was never any pressure and I was free to discover which car best fit my needs even tho understand how to match that product to their customers. There was never any pressure and I was free to discover which car best fit my needs even though I didn't really know when I first walked in. Every aspect of this transaction has been pleasant so far. I WILL highly recommend this dealership AND Volvo to my friends looking for a new vehicle! I spent the most time with Peter and his knowledge of Volvo cars is impressive! It's obvious his career choice is a wise one! Bruce was also very pleasant to work with and it's apparent he provides great support for his staff while keeping the customer's goals in the forefront. Sean and his "wizard's table" made the financial part of this transaction actually fun! Sean was keen to ensure that my interests were always kept first-and-foremost. Lastly, it seems to me that the team, as a whole, functions very well together. Whoever is the overall leader of this team should be aware that this is noticed and appreciated. Presumably, these people are compensated in ways commensurate with their value to your team's overall goals. (Perhaps it's time for a raise!) Now, let me know when the roadwork is completed as I don't want to drive my new car on that unfinished stretch! :) More

I haven’t purchased a new car since 2016, when I bought a Hyundai Azera which I still have but am in the process of selling now that we have a beautiful Volvo. My husband and I are so pleased that we had Jacob Burns as our main contact at the Volvo dealership. His knowledge of the Volvo vehicle gave us great confidence in the process of determining which vehicle we would ultimately take home. He fully explained the lease information vs a cash purchase which helped us greatly in making our final decision. When there was a disaster at the port of Baltimore, Jacob was quick to inform us of the dealership’s move of the delivery through another port to limit any delays of the delivery of our vehicle. We are very pleased with our experience, and especially grateful to Jacob for all the knowledge that he shared with us in the process of purchasing the car. I would certainly recommend him to any of my friends if they are in the market for a new car! Thank you to Jacob and Volvo of Silver Spring! More
