I've had my car serviced at Windward Ford of Hawaii since obtaining my 2019 Ford Edge SEL in April 2024. Since I need to keep up with the maintenance of my vehicle specifically for the components that I can obtaining my 2019 Ford Edge SEL in April 2024. Since I need to keep up with the maintenance of my vehicle specifically for the components that I cannot repair or work on myself (i.e. transmission servicing and electronics). Windward Ford of Hawaii's Service Advisors and mechanics are great. I would rate the entire experience a 5, but unfortunately, the staff that supports the Service Advisor and mechanics are unable to predict or anticipate length or amount of time mechanics working on the vehicles. It doesn't take the entire day (quoted to complete in 3 and half hours) to accomplish a complimentary vehicle inspection, an oil change and a tire rotation when you have a scheduled appointment. Any problems identified outside of the required service(s) and other than what was initially requested, should be discussed with the owner and documented on the invoice. Such as the lug nuts ornamental dressing that was found to be swollen and separating, which I denied to have replaced since I already have a new set of acorn lug nuts. Other than these minor issues, I am more than satisfied with the service and experience at Windward Ford of Hawaii. More

As for my remote purchasing experience with the dealership, I am deducting a star for the confusing multiple email addresses and business names they used to send me documents to sign and their confusion on which county to register my new car. I am also deducting another star for the mandatory window etching fee imposed from the get-go. More

I had the pleasure of working with Joshua Willis on the sales side. He was very easy to work with and got me through the process easily and quickly.. Usual car dealership tactics: drag out the back and forth with the sales manager then rush through things with the financing office when you just want to get out of there. What really irked me is that in the contract, the default is having the add ins included and the financing guy insinuated that it’s standard. Opt out instead of opt in: They read their behavioral economics! Poor ratings are for use of these sales tactics and for the financing guy. Austin is a nice guy though. More
