Great Sales Staff Under Ali and sad to hear Ali's Departure! Updated Review on 11/22/2014 I visited White Plains Honda today again to purchase a new car (CR-V) for my wife and to have the assessment done on my Updated Review on 11/22/2014 I visited White Plains Honda today again to purchase a new car (CR-V) for my wife and to have the assessment done on my old car (Honda Civic) for trade-in value. I was pleased to see the friendly faces (i.e. Alex, Atif, Alexander, and Jonathan) but Ali, the general manager, was not there. I was told Ali is no longer with White Plains Honda. I was very disappointed to hear the loss (big one if I may add) as I understood how important it is to have a solid top management and its impact on the whole organization. Apparently, there is a new general manager "guy" ( I don't know his name as he never introduced himself while inspecting my car for trade-in and I thought to myself, "this guy is very rude and unprofessional. Ali would've NEVER done that. Only thing he uttered to me was, "title?" I think he meant if my car was owned without liens.. He couldn't even talk to me with a complete sentence. Mr. Alexander had to elaborate on what this guy supposedly meant..). The trade-in value was not unreasonable considering from the dealers. But, based on my unpleasant experience with the general manager "guy" and his lack of social skills, I would not visit the dealer again as long as he is at the "helm" of the dealership with much regret. Four stars are for Alex, Atif, Keith, and Jonathan. They're fantastic and invaluable asset to the White Plains Honda organization... Initial Review on 10/19/2014 I recently purchased a Honda Odyssey EX (2015) from White Plains Honda. From the 1st day visit to the pick-up date, it took just 6 days, which is phenomenal considering the car of my choice (i.e. color and trim) had to be brought over from its sister dealer with additional customization thereafter. This is my 2nd time purchasing the car from them and the experience has been very positive once again with its sales team (different folks but it goes to show you something about its management team and its foresight for hiring the best). On a first day, I was greeted with a big "hello" by Mr. Jonathan R who is young, energetic, and receptive. My wife and I went in with 3 different quotes from truecar.com and we were not quite ready to buy the car on a 1st day although Jonathan was willing to work with us on a price and additional request for more features. Ali who is a general manager was cordial and professional. We test drove the car, obtained the typical info about the car, and called it a day. On the 2nd day, we visited again with the full intention of putting down a deposit to get the car. Mr. Jonathan R. was not there but Mr. Atif S. approached me with a "big & genuine" smile. We sat down, and again, we agreed to a price. My philosophy is that buying a car is a business and although as a customer, I would like to get the best price possible, I realize that I want the business to make money as well. All in all, I want to find that happy medium/price for both of us (between myself as a customer and business). Atif was wonderful and knowledgeable about the car. He was willing to go out of his way to make the deal happen. He drove me to different lots to show me the "actual" car I would be interested... We did not find the one I was looking for but Atif located a car at its sister dealer. We signed the contract and deposited the money on the same day. Alex, who was a manager on that day, was equally pleasant and easy to work with. I would definitely come back AGAIN to purchase a car just because of Atif, Alex, and Jonathan. On the pick-up day, we finished all the paper work after inspecting the car, which we loved !! Gustavo & Felix in finance worked with us finalizing the contract & Insurance/registration. I also appreciated the honesty in refunding the DMV registration difference as well. Overall, my experience with White Plains Honda, has been fantastic from the beginning to the day I picked up the car... I would recommend them with no hesitation. More

Before I went there, last summer I went to Mount Kisco Honda and I was very intimidated and the finance manager who was taking care of me was questioning me about the money, And right there I would never go back to this dealer. And 2 weeks ago I went to Tarrytown Honda and the clown who helped me ( wearing a maroon suit), did not even make an effort to sell me a car.The only thing he cared was, how much money I would put down and also did not even give me a brochure about the car that I want. And also I had my friend with me, who asked him question and he questioned her about the car that she drive, that has nothing to do about me who was there to purchased a car? So like I said about White Plains Honda, I would definitely recommend you guys to my friend and family. And I had nephew and friend who was already interested to check you guys out. Our experience this time around was even better. Sandy Vargas-Colon (sales representative) was very kind and helpful, taking into account our needs and expectations. Alex Vargas, the manager was also very kind and did all he could to offer us a package that suited our needs. The hours we spent at the dealer, even though we only went in for a quote, resulted in us driving home with a brand new larger vehicle that we are really enjoing much. Gustavo Rengifo was again very helfpul and accomodating to our needs and offered the best payment options available to us.The post sale service has been great so far. Sandy has gone out of her way to assist us with the other accessories that need to be installed and has been available to talk or text whenever a question or need has come up.Thank you for a great experience. The process was a little more dragged out than I would have liked, but that was at no fault of the dealership, but rather the bank. I then had the pleasure of meeting Keith Johnson, who was by far one of the friendliest, most welcoming individuals I have ever met. I was quite frustrated with the prolonged waiting period, and began to question the credibility of this dealership, however, when Keith contacted me, his detailed explanation, his willingness to answer my questions, and his patient friendly tone immediately dissipated any doubt I had in White Plains Honda. Upon meeting him in person, he welcomed me, not as a stranger purchasing a car from him, but rather as though I was a family member. He went above and beyond to ensure that I did not just leave satisfied with my purchase, but HAPPY. Many people often state that car salesmen are coniving individuals trying to bleed your pockets, however, this is MOST DEFINITELY NOT the case at White Plains Honda. The Business Manager, Gustavo, not only helped me get a great deal on my financing, he even got me enrolled in a program to fix my credit! Overall, my experience with White Plains Honda was FANTASTIC and though I may not have purchased a Honda, they were still very willing to help me and ensure I left satisfied. As the icing on the cake, Keith even called me this morning, the day after I brought the vehicle home, to ask me how my ride home was! How sweet and considerate is that?! White Plains Honda has definiely gained a customer for life...I don't think I would go anywhere else because their shoes will be tough to fill! THANK YOU WHITE PLAINS HONDA!!!!! More

I have a confession to make. Before I buy anything big I read the reviews of the product and the place. But I don't think that I've ever written a review. Of course there have been times when I told myself that I should but...well you know. So here I go. I was looking for a used car last week and walked into White Plains Honda where I met with Keith. I have to say that instantly I felt comfortable with him. "But he's the enemy!!" I said to myself. "Don't get too close. Car salesman...you know" (I don't have many conversations with myself) It was useless, though. Keith has such an easy going way about himself that you just feel like you are talking to an old friend. Even after I changed my mind about which car I wanted, he just rolled with it. And so I remembered that it's the dreaded sales manager who you got to watch out for. "Red Alert!" Here comes Joe the manager...wait...no don't do this...don't change the way I feel about car dealerships (do I really have to spell it out for you!) Hey Joe, stop changing the universe man. I noticed that each desk had a sign posted, 'No Negativity Allowed", and they really mean it. It may sound cliche, but they really mean it. Listen, I know that it's just a used...excuse me...Certified Pre-Owned car, but I really had a good experience here and its'a about time that I pay it forward. You know when you are talking to friends and somebody says "I got a guy..." I certainly will be calling Keith in the future. More

This was my second place looking at for a certified honda in my price range. I talked to Sandy Vargas she was very polite, friendly and had a lot of knowledge about all Hondas, she broke everytime down to me and explained what was different about each one. Most dealers barely know so I was very greatful to have her for my dealer. She worked very hard at getting me the right type of honda I was looking for and for a great price. She spent a lot of time and effort into the perfect honda for me and my family and I appreciate all of her help. I want to think Ms.Sandy for her hard work, kindness and great hospitality. She made my experience easy and stressless. I also want to thank Mr. Gustavo for findimg me a great payment plan and APR. I appreciate all you guys hard work and dont want it to go unrecognized.
