I don't write reviews unless they, thru attention to detail, going the extra mile and good follow-up are EARNED. For years now my wife and I have wanted a Plug-in Hybrid vehicle. We have been particul detail, going the extra mile and good follow-up are EARNED. For years now my wife and I have wanted a Plug-in Hybrid vehicle. We have been particularly interested in the Toyota RAV4 Prime XSE in the color of BluePrint. Unfortunately this particular car has been extremely hard to find/to get to see, much less at a sell price even close to MSRP! When I stopped at My Auto Import Center in Muskegon Mi back in early October (2023) I was greeted by Olivia (what a PHENOMENAL Salesperson this young lady turned out to be!). After having Olivia introduce me to the Sales Manager (Alex) as he walked up and another of her cohorts, having her install my personal info into the Dealerships system and some GREAT chit chat about motorcycles :) , Olivia and I got down to business. I explained to Olivia exactly what I was looking for, she listened carefully to every word and concurred the RAV4 Prime was indeed VERY difficult to come by. She then did make it very clear to me that if/when My Auto Import Center were EVER fortunate enough to have one allocated from Toyota in Japan it would be sold at MSRP with NO "dealer mark up" (many dealers have been adding +$10,000). Hearing that, I asked if there was a deposit needed to get on a "wait list" of some sort. Absolutely not was her response and she took down my name and promised if the dealership got one in she would call! I left with a GREAT 1st impression of My Auto Import Center! A couple weeks passed and I received a phone call from Olivia (who was at home - not even at the dealership!) at which time she told me she had been notified that Toyota had "allocated" to My Auto Import Center a 2024 RAV4 XSE Prime (color of BluePrint :) - ATTENTION TO DETAIL!) and she wondered if we were interested. My reply? ABSOLUTELY! She said she needed to RUSH a quick call-in to the dealership and get our name on it and SHE DID (WENT THE EXTRA MILE FOR US, HER CUSTOMER'S)! Olivia kept me updated throughout the WHOLE build process of our GORGEOUS RAV4, throughout the shipping process and all the way to the day it was arriving at My Auto Import Center. After test driving (before it was even "prepped" LOL, she even went the EXTRA mile of getting her husband, Brenden, (Service Tech, - another OUTSTANDING employee!!) to put our, soon to be, brand new Toyota on a lift for me so I could examine it's undercarriage before purchase (all at my request)! The sales team, at EVERY level, did a REMARKABLE job during the whole purchase process! After introducing me to the Business Manager, Service Manager and Parts Manager and leaving a detailed note on our new RAV4 giving the Prep Team (thank you Prep People!) explaining that we wanted certain things left on our new car (like plastic seat cover, plastic on sun visors and ALL the stickers, Olivia walked us to the front doors of the dealership right at closing time (what a GREAT day!), smiled and said SEE YOU TOMORROW! Closing on our new RAV4 at My Auto Import Center was straight forward, honest and fair. Before driving home on December 20, 2023 in our brand new 2024 Toyota XSE RAV4 Prime in the color of BluePrint, Olivia went thru all the controls with my wife and I and made sure we were very comfortable with understanding them. She took the time to get us signed into the Toyota app on our phone and also made it crystal clear that if we had ANY questions concerning the AMAZING Media System that we absolutely were free to stop in for personal assistance! To this date (December 26, 2023) we have needed to, twice, do so and both times we have been greeted with the same, pleasant Olivia that I was greeted by the 1st time I walked into My Auto Import Center in Muskegon Mi! TALK ABOUT FOLLOW-UP! THANK YOU everyone at My Auto! More

First of all, I thank the salesperson for contacting me when the vehicle I (and many others) had been looking for over the last two to three years. It has been over 20 years since I have bought a new vehi when the vehicle I (and many others) had been looking for over the last two to three years. It has been over 20 years since I have bought a new vehicle, so it is difficult to assess what is an "average" experience. But, sadly, I must give a less-than-perfect rating, based on my expectations. I had told the salesman that I intended to put at least $10,000 down using a credit card. When the time came to set up financing the day of my purchase, I was told that the policy at the dealership limited the amount charged on a card to $5000! Luckily, I had brought my checkbook with me and was able to transfer funds to cover the balance of my desired down payment. The salesman should have known that, and made it clear to me ahead of time. Another disappointment was the business/finance man I dealt with when buying my RAV4 Prime at the end of July. All these days later, I re-read the documents only to realize that, although the representative told my husband and I that he had just found an interest rate of 5.9%, it turned out to be 6.59% He said that I would receive information from Toyota concerning setting up the payments within a couple of weeks. It has been three weeks and I have not yet received any notification. In addition, only one electronic key was provided along with one mechanical key. The salesman said that Toyota would soon issue a recall and provide another mechanical key, but another electronic key would cost $700 to $800. In reviewing the "nsd TFS/MFS - Platinum Protection With Key- Class1" (vehicle appearance plan) Agreement I hurriedly signed for the finance guy, I note that one of the statements I evidently certified was that I had "... received at least two (2) sets of working keys/remotes at the time of original Vehicle delivery." I DID NOT, and, as you see above in my review, was told I would get another mechanical key but would have to pay for another "fob" or electronic key. Now, I look online at the Toyota Autoparts website and apparently, the electronic keys cost $1,513.33! I say apparently because there is no image available! I do understand that the dealership rarely gets RAV4 Primes in, and that the salesperson had not seen one come through in his 1-1/2 years at that job. However, this does not excuse him from misrepresenting the value of an electronic key--or his business manager/finance man from allowing the statement of the number of keys to remain on the "Agreement" for the protection package, and not pointing that out! Hopefully, we will be able to get a mechanical key via the recall system soon--but I'm not holding my breath. Also, the charging station at the dealership was unable to provide a "fast charge" with the cables available, and the timing of our purchase did not allow for a complete charge before I left the dealership. It seems every Toyota dealer should have that capability. Lastly (at this moment) I am disappointed that my Android smart phone is not able to download the Toyota App. Evidently, it is too old, or the wrong version to be able to download the app. I would like to see a list on the Toyota.com website of smart phones that are able to get the app. Somehow, I was able to connect my phone, but must buy a new phone to get that app. More

Had a great experience with My Auto Nick was a great salesman and made me feel as a first time car buyer safe and trusted and that he was really caring about my family and making sure we have the right salesman and made me feel as a first time car buyer safe and trusted and that he was really caring about my family and making sure we have the right car.
