Good Morning Mr. Skelton, As you mentioned, we did find outlines of small kids stickers on the passenger rear glass along with scratch marks all around it which was your concern when you came in. I apologize that you misunderstood, or failed to communicate properly, but I in no way said that you or your child caused the damage, and was simply trying to explain what we found, and that Audi declined to cover the repairs as it was damage and not a defect of the manufacturing. As we explained, the cost of the repairs were roughly $1,200 plus tax to replace the damaged glass, but I was happy to assist by using my full $1,000 goodwill limit to help minimize the cost for you with this issue, but you may have a few hundred dollars to cover. Above and beyond that, we were able to discount the bill to below $1,000, and get the damage covered 100%. Additionally, at the dealership's expense, I believe we adjusted and fixed the other damaged items free of charge that were also not covered under warranty. I assumed that this all would have been good news, but clearly, we failed you in some way to cause the interaction at the time of pickup last night, and this review today. Unfortunately, no matter who the customer is, the use of foul language and threats towards the company, myself, and the staff to hear/get what they want is something we can't tolerate. As I explained last night we are always happy to assist when we can, and I think we went above and beyond to help you with an issue in question, so I struggle to grasp the strong negative reaction you had at the time of pick-up last night as we thought we were giving you excellent news. I apologize that I let you down, and I clearly failed to de-escalate the situation to satisfy your expectations and match the service I have provided you for the last 15 years. Good Morning Julia, I understand how frustrating and disappointing it is to deal with the damage to the trim of your vehicle. Unfortunately, the corrosive fluids that caused the damage are not covered under warranty by Audi North America. The cost to repair the damage caused by external factors came to $7200+ tax. Despite my efforts to advocate on your behalf, Audi declined warranty coverage, and instead offered $2,400 in goodwill assistance (50% of the parts). Since Audi North America declined to cover the repairs, I recommend reaching out to your insurance company and using your comprehensive coverage to repair the car and pay your deductible. If you choose to have the repairs done at our location, The Ciocca Promise may be able to cover $500 of your deductible to help alleviate some of the costs. I apologize if it seemed like we didn't make an effort or empathize with your situation. Unfortunately, we are unable to warranty concerns of this nature, and dealership policies do not allow for payment of damages caused by external incidents unrelated to our workmanship. I truly wish I had another path to assist you further, but at this point in time Audi North America has refused to take responsibility to fix the damage on your vehicle at no cost. Unfortunately, the people who work for your dealership continue to act unprofessionally and spitefully. I had to wrestle with your general manager to receive a detail that was appropriate. As I mentioned, nothing was originally offered to me after you sold me a car knowing it had more miles on it than you told me (which is actually illegal). I had to wrestle your GM for a detail. All I wanted was a little consolation for the lies, frustration and my time that was wasted. I was originally scheduled to do a service at your dealership this past Saturday. When I arrived at the dealership, 30 minutes from my home, the GM Cecil Lam walked up to me. You'd think it would be to greet me and apologize, but it was to tell me the service I was having done shouldn't be done in the rain. Instead of letting me know ahead of time, or even calling me on that morning to tell me - he allowed me to drive all the way down, wasting another hour and a half of my time and destroying my Saturday morning. These employees should be held accountable for their actions. Was this your last parting shot at a customer who you lied to? Just disgusting.
