My initial experience at Cobb County Toyota was great. The salesman was perfect, very friendly and helpful and the F&I experience was also great. I was very happy with my purchase and happy about the dealership. That recently changed. We bought the car on May 2, 2025 so we could have a reliable vehicle while out of state. We bought the car six weeks before going out of state and had no idea there would be any issues. The expiration date of the temp tag would occur while we were out of state. The last time I bought a car at the same dealership, it took only two weeks to get the permanent tag. On May 28, I first called the tag office. They let me know that the dealership didn’t submit the documents to process a tag. That was 26 days after the purchase. I called the dealership to find out what happened. I spoke with a different F&I rep. I wanted to know what the delay was and what can be done to expedite the process. Sadly, he pushed back and wasn’t willing to help. I was persistent and he put me on hold. He came back several minutes later and told me it was processed. As I still don’t have this tag, and it is now June 7. I have to assume I was lied to. I did try to reach out to the General Sales Manager and he never responded. Someone else did call yesterday to let me know the state has the information to process the tag. I am very bitter about this. I trusted this dealership would care about their customers. What they proved to me is they care when you are buying a car, but after that, not so much. At this point, I won’t be able to use my car as intended and no one at the dealership will tell me why. If you don’t care if a dealership has great customer service after the sale, by all means, buy from Cobb County Toyota. If customer service is important, I recommend you look at other dealerships. I wish I had and will never buy another car from Cobb County Toyota. Why did they wait 29 days to process my tag, assuming it really was processed and why did it take me making a call to have it happen? More

Best sale experience ever! Sale Representative Frank Mauka exceeded my expectations. He looked for options without any pressure and allowing me to make my own decisions. After having a horrible experience in another Toyota Dealer, Frank totally change that experience in a positive one. I left the other dealer without looking to the options available because the sale person was pushing me to choose the car that he want it… Thank you Frank for changing that experience in a positive one and for showing that you really care for your customers!
