Hello Jasmin and Kevin, I am truly sorry you feel so poorly about our team; however, our team did nothing unethical, we simply charged you for a diagnostic fee which is very standard in the automotive industry. I will copy and paste the same responses I provided during our conversations via text. I understand that in today's economy every dollar counts, especially when you have a family to support. Your feelings are valid, and I appreciate the opportunity to address them. When it comes to diags, its important to recognize that different service providers offer varying levels of expertise and thoroughness. While Auto Zone may provide free diag services these typically involve basic checks using standard code readers. In contrast, our diag fee covers comprehensive evaluation performed by trained techs who identify issues accurately. May I add that the diag fee is applied toward repair needed if the customer decides to move forward at the time of visit . We strive to provide value through our services, which not only include diags but also recommendations for repairs based on your vehicle's specific needs. I genuinely empathize with your situation regarding your economic challenges, as many of us are phased with the same issues. Our team is always willing to work together and find a solutions that may better fit our customers needs or budgets. You stated that your were charged for windshield wiper replacement as the diag fee wasn't applied toward that so just to clarify the windshield wipers are not part of the diagnostic fee that is considered a ware and tear item. I understand that unexpected charges can be frustrating especially when you are already experiencing issue with your vehicle. I asked you to elaborate because your feedback is important to us. The diag fee is a standard practice it cover's the techs time and expertise to identify specific issues with your vehicle. When I asked you to elaborate it wasn't meant to dismiss your feeling but rather to gain a better understanding of what went wrong from your perspective. Best of luck to you and take care!
