I was told after inspection that I needed over $3,500 in repairs immediately and another $1,500 in additional repairs soon. The biggest repair was for a supposed oil leak from my gaskets. Second opinion f repairs immediately and another $1,500 in additional repairs soon. The biggest repair was for a supposed oil leak from my gaskets. Second opinion from independent mechanic said I had no oil leak and the repairs were completely necessary. Additionally, the only other “service” needed that was on the report from Palmer was to replace the spark plugs. I spent $1,000 for an actuator on the rear door, that was needed, and the spark plugs. Saved $3,500 in unnecessary costs for work that wasn’t necessary. I want to not think that a dealership was trying to rip me off, however, the more I look at it the more I wonder Thaler’s honesty and integrity of this dealership. More

I’m really disappointed that my Jeep is leaking coolant and needs radiator hoses replaced which I was quoted just over $1000 for. This is after the motor had to be replaced at 1900 miles. Now, 7500 miles and needs radiator hoses replaced which I was quoted just over $1000 for. This is after the motor had to be replaced at 1900 miles. Now, 7500 miles later a coolant leak was discovered. It may have been leaking this whole time, and I am not convinced that this issue was caused when the motor was replaced. Palmer Dodge did all the work. I have never had a coolant leak or needed new hoses on any car less than 15 years old or 100K miles. My Jeep has 9500 total miles. More

My highly subjective rating of this dealership is I’ll never go there again. I took my truck in to have a BTSI (part that prevents the shifter from moving unless your foot is on the brake). I dropped th never go there again. I took my truck in to have a BTSI (part that prevents the shifter from moving unless your foot is on the brake). I dropped the car off in the morning around 10:30. The service writer said they needed to hold my truck overnight, okay, no big deal. I get a call from service writer at 12:30 informing me the part will take 3-4 days to arrive. Okay, no problem. I’ll pick my truck up today, call me when you have the part and I’ll bring the truck back. I needed to help a family member move so I needed my truck. I get another call around 2:45 and the service writer says the repairs are complete and my truck is ready to be picked up. Okay, that’s weird but okay. I feel like the service writer was dishonest about getting the part in time. I go that evening to pick up my car and they’re charging me $1200 for the repair. The BTSI part is $99 on MOPAR website. The charges included is a TPMS charge of around $600, a repair I never asked for and we never talked about. A repair I never authorized and a repair that wasn’t needed. My personal opinion is I’ll never go here again, and god help you if you get Kimberly as a service writer. More

Palmer Dodge is the only shop I trust with my diesel. Hiram and his team have been servicing and maintaining my truck for four years, and they've consistently done outstanding work.
