I have had a constant problem with transmission shutter since new. I cannot get anyone to address the problem. All I am told is my vehicle must throw a code before a repair can occur. I know we live in a world of electronic devices, but all you need to do to experience the problem is drive the car. The service writer does not even write the problem I am having on the work order. I can go on, but what's the point. More

Poor Customer Service My agency has been a faithful customer at Cortese Ford for 8+ years. In fact, we purchase all of our agency vehicles from Cortese. However, within the past few years my office in particular has had inconsistent experiences when getting our program vehicles serviced there. It seems as though every time we bring our vehicle in to be serviced for something simple, there is additional work that needs to be done. We purchase our vehicles brand new and I understand normal wear and tear, but find that we often question some of the additional work "needed". Overall, our experience is that it has been difficult in communicating with the service department, making it an inconvenience to have our vehicles serviced. On multiple occasions, we have dropped our vehicles off to be serviced for routine maintenance (e.i. oil changes, inspections, snow tire change) and have not had our vehicles returned to us until the following day. More so the communication is very minimal as to when our vehicles are ready for pick up. I spoke with Darren, the Service Manager, regarding our experience and initially did not feel heard and dismissed. I had to call back and express my frustrations and concerns. Darren and I had a meaningful conversation and was able to reach a mutual understanding. Unfortunately, it has come to a point where we are very much considering taking our business and service needs elsewhere. Again, we have done a lot of business with Cortese and it's disappointing to have to write this review. This review is not a reflection on the quality of work the service department does, but to share our most recent experiences in customer service. More

Recall I had to schedule an appointment and take off work bc of a recall bc they don’t do them on weekends and only the weekdays! I was told on the phone when making the appointment that it was an in and out appointment! When I got there the guy told me a couple of hrs not as they promised me on the phone so I decided to stay and wait anyways! Two hrs later the guy comes in and tells me he’s waiting for a part on my car that the mechanic broke and he didn’t know how long it was going to take until he got the part but it will be sometime that day! He offered me a shuttle home and the shuttle driver told me just to call him when the dealership called me to get the car and he would come back and pick me up! I waited 6 hrs later and about 2hrs before they closed I decided to call them bc they never called me! He then told me he will call me back bc he wasn’t sure when the car will be ready and when he called me back he told me the car will be done at 530... that’s a half hour before they close! I then call the shuttle driver to come pick me back up but I didn’t get an answer so I called the dealership... the guy at the dealership told me that the shuttle guy is done for the day! Now I have no ride to get my car and what an inconvenience this was! I had to get an Uber to get my car! When I finally got my car back... there was screws left on the floor that the mechanic never screwed back and my dashboard was not put back how it originally was! I will never be returning to this dealership for anything or just not by a ford again period bc customer service sucks point blank More
