UPDATE, SEPT 22: I just heard from Chance Baker, a Sales Manager there. "We have been unable to reach a solution with the other options. ... I'm not sure what he means by a solution with the "other options", but apparently I need to hire an attorney. RUN FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, THEY ARE AFFILIATED WITH SMITHVILLE FORD IN WHICH THEY DID SOMETHING SIMILAR, BUT USED MY INFORMATION ONLY WITHOUT PERMISSION. UPDATE, SEPT. 21: We have the lender calling us looking for their payment. Blue Springs Ford said they would straighten out their mistake and here we are, no car, no resolution and a lot of phone calls. Update, Sept. 16: We returned the vehicle to the dealership so they could unwind the deal. That was 3 days ago and we're still waiting to see if deal has been unwound. The lender is reaching out as well to me, because they haven't heard from the dealership. And sadly, the GSM didn't even know it had been there since Sunday as of this morning and he's been included in ALL EMAILS. And the first communication I had from him after all this time included a snarky comment that was uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. On July 30, 2026 I submitted a credit application with this dealership as a CO-SIGNER. But not before I spoke with Chance Baker, one of the Sales Managers. I explained the fraud scenario at Smithville Ford (I had no idea these dealerships were Balderston Auto dealerships) and said I would fill out as a co-signer if they would initially only submit to one bank and that I would only unlock 1 Credit Bureau & not all 3. He let me know which one to unlock, which I did. We arrived at the dealership to complete the deal and thought everyone was on the same page. (Salesman was well aware of scenario and made sure to keep me as secondary on all paperwork on his end) Imagine my surprise when I learn that I'm Primary on the loan when the bank sends me the Welcome packet. I was a co-signer/applicant and Blue Springs Ford altered that credit application. Plain and simple. This should NEVER BEEN DONE WITHOUT DISCUSSING AND GETTING MY CONSENT, it's the law. And to top it off, the AWD vehicle that was purchased has 2 sets of different tires on it. BIG NO-NO. So at this point I'm waiting on Blue Springs Ford to address and correct these scenarios. RUN from this dealership. More
