I am a born and raised Tucsonan, and am now raising my 3 kiddos here with my wife. I love my job working for a fantastic local mom and pop dealership here at Tucson Subaru. I got started in this business helping out around my grandfathers Chevron service station when I was a little guy, and haven't left the auto business since. I started off in the dealer world as a Service Adviser in 2004. I was in service here at Subaru starting in 2010 before I started on the sales side in 2014. Awesome new car purchase experience My wife and I are long-standing (VIP) Subaru customers. We have driven an Outback for almost 10 years with no serious mechanical trouble of any kind, and have recently traded it in on a new 2015.. Tucson Subaru is without doubt the best Subaru dealership we have ever dealt with. As other reviewers have indicated there is no sales pressure, only a friendly and welcoming attitude on the part of all the employees, and lots of good information and guidance. Curt McHenry, our sales representative, displayed these company characteristics in spades -- a pleasure to work with, highly knowledgeable, an excellent mentor in the many new features of the 2015 models, who gave us the guidance we needed. He promptly followed up phone calls and he wants us back shortly to be sure we understand everything the new car offers! We look forward to an ongoing relationship with Curt and Tucson Subaru! Outstanding from beginning to end We knew we wanted a Subaru from the start but not sure whether an Outback or a Forrester, so we got quotes for both at Edmunds.com. We got a call from Curt shortly after that and went down to the dealership, where we met him. Since we weren't sure which car was right for us, Curt gave us an in depth walk-through of both and then extensive test drives. We both loved the Forrester more so that is what we bought. Curt could not have been more helpful, pleasant, professional and informative- he obviously wanted us the get the right car and certainly didn't push us. Best new car buying experience I ever had! Took my 2011 Outback in for service with no expectation of buying a new one. While waiting for my car I talked to Curt McHenry whom I knew when he wor Took my 2011 Outback in for service with no expectation of buying a new one. While waiting for my car I talked to Curt McHenry whom I knew when he worked in service. We chatted for awhile and then he asked me if I would like to look at and drive a new 2015 Outback and I said "sure", and we went out for a drive and I just loved it, Curt told me that there was absolutely no pressure but if I wanted to, he could run some numbers to see if driving home in a new Outback was possible, and just out of curiosity I again said "sure", still not expecting to get a new Outback. I was stunned with the figures he came back with and I just said, "where do I sign?" Curt was terrific! He's very friendly, very professional and very knowledgeable, but best of all he makes you feel very comfortable; like you're hanging out with an old friend. The Finance Manager was Tim Hansen, and again, no pressure to buy anything I didn't want, just a real nice friendly guy who took the time to explain all of the options available to me. He was excellent in helping me decide on what I wanted and what I didn't need. Like I said, it was the best new car buying experience I ever had, quick, easy and no hassles, just very friendly people trying to do everything they can to make you happy. Tucson Subaru is an outstanding dealership, congratulations on such a great team and great facility. Finally, to top it all off, my wife was not expecting me to come home with a new Outback, she was thrilled with the car and the dozen roses Curt gave me to take home to her. It was a great day!!! The Best Selection of Subarus and The Best Sales Staff!!! There are nothing but positives about my purchase experience of a 2015 Subaru Forester XT via their internet staff, especially with Mr. Curt McHenry. There are nothing but positives about my purchase experience of a 2015 Subaru Forester XT via their internet staff, especially with Mr. Curt McHenry. I was looking for a particular car and filled out an inquiry on the Tucson Subaru internet site. I got an immediate response via an email and phone call from Curt. He arranged and appointment for me to come in and drive a Forester, since I have never owned one. After the test ride, I was convinced that the Forester XT would meet all of my needs. I was seeking one in pearl white and within a week, one came in. I subsequently followed up with Curt, reached an agreement on my trade in value and a final "out the door cost" for the Forester. We quickly sealed the deal. This was one of the quickest and most stress free car sales transaction that I have experienced. I have purchased almost 10 cars in my life time and this was the best. Many thanks to Curt McHenry, Tucson Subaru, and a great product. The dealership is in a new location and they have paid no expense to have a top notch business establishment and have hired really great people. By far the best car buying experience ever! I started my process late one evening while searching the internet just for fun for a car I have wanted for a very long time. I discovered a 2013 Inf I started my process late one evening while searching the internet just for fun for a car I have wanted for a very long time. I discovered a 2013 Inferno Orange Chevy Camaro. Not a car you would expect to find at a Subaru Dealership, so I was a bit skeptical. I decided to take the chance and gave my information. I received a call from a nice young man on Friday. He introduced himself as Curt McHenry. Curt answered all my questions and we set an appointment for Monday. I then crossed my fingers and watched this car all weekend hoping it did not sell. From the time i stepped onto the patio and was greeted by a very nice gentleman I knew this was going to be a pleasant experience. I then met Curt in Person, set up for a test drive, found out the car was a one owner trade in; sad for the gal who had to give it up, lucky for me! We then started the process. We only negotiated once and I received the deal I wanted. Financing was so easy and Louie Ascencio made me feel so comfortable about the process as I was buying this car on my own. Easiest Vehicle Purchase Ever I had been researching SUVs online and was looking for a vehicle that had high gas mileage, was environmentally friendly, had the latest technologies, I had been researching SUVs online and was looking for a vehicle that had high gas mileage, was environmentally friendly, had the latest technologies, and was reasonably priced. Using the EPA gas mileage website it came down to either the new Lexus NX Hybrid or the Subaru Crosstrek XV Hybrid. Amazingly, when I used the build your own car feature on each website and added all of the options I wanted.... the Subaru came in about $20,000 less. So I emailed Tucson Subaru for a quote and Curt McHenry responded within a day. After the new Hybrid Crosstreks arrived my wife and I made an appointment for a test drive, drove it, and loved the car. Since they had just received the exact model vehicle with the color and all the options we had wanted, we bought it. I was a bit suspicious of all of the high praise that Curt has received on this website but we found out it is true. Curt moved to sales from the service department a couple of years ago and he really knows the cars. I challenged him to see how fast we could be out of the dealership with our new car as the Cats were playing that afternoon. We were on our way in less than 4 hours, including the test drive. As others have mentioned Curt answered all of our questions about the car and pointed out each feature and even programmed my wife's phone to sync with the entertainment/Info system. I'd gladly recommend Curt McHenry, Traci Roberts, and Tucson Subaru for anyone looking for a no hassle car buying experience. More

Great car buying experience! After hunting for the right car and deciding on the Outback - the search was on for one in stock at a good price (based on True Car - KBB - etc.). Because the Outback is in high demand, finding the color and trim we wanted proved to be challenging. We came upon Tucson Subaru via my internet searching. I handled all the negotiations online and via phone and when our car came in, Curt, had it ready for pick up (we had to drive 3 hours from home) along with all the paperwork in process. He left us in good hands with Kevin & Traci and we were out the door in about an hour. We paid a few hundred dollars more than a quote we received from a Denver dealer, however, due to the distance decided we would spend that in travel and bought from Tucson Subaru --- no regrets and would highly recommend them! More

I never felt hurried while he answered my numerous questions, and my test drive was not the routine around the block route, but rather it included roads that would highlight the vehicle's handling ability. On the day of my vehicle purchase, I also found Tim to be engaging and helpful. I could not have asked for a more positive vehicle purchasing experience. The entire process went smoothly and just before driving off the lot, I was even given a dozen red roses (it was the day before Valentine's Day). Nice touch, Tucson Subaru!!!! More
