Buyer Beware! Purchased a Ford Mustang 5.0 from Apple Ford paying top dollar, owned for less than 15 days and the AC went out. I lived 7 1/2 hours away from them r Purchased a Ford Mustang 5.0 from Apple Ford paying top dollar, owned for less than 15 days and the AC went out. I lived 7 1/2 hours away from them round trip and asked to have it repaired at a certified Ford dealer locally and at first they said NO and finally after much debate and aggravation, they agreed. Apparently there was a deductible to have it repaired and at first they said they weren't going to pay it and after debating again and again, stating I just received the vehicle, they finally agreed to pay the $100 deductible. I asked to have the car inspected to ensure nothing else was wrong with this newly purchased vehicle and they said if you drive here (7 1/2 hours round trip) we can relook at it, but we won't pay for someone else to do it for us. They literally refused like they were scared someone else would find out something else was wrong. So basically if I wanted it done, I would have to pay for this on my own. Well after getting the AC fixed, 3wks later the AC went out again while my daughter was at college and when calling Apple Ford, they basically said "not our problem" and you have to take it back to the place that said they fixed it. They took "no responsibility" for selling me a broken vehicle and as a consumer told me to deal with it on my own, really. Not to mention this is the General Manager of the dealership! Wow, just wow! This has been an absolute nightmare and I can't understand how legally a dealership can sell you a vehicle with mechanical issues and take no responsibility whatsoever, none! So here I am with a broken vehicle and once again having to coordinate a repair at a separate dealership with no support from the dealer who sold me this BAD APPLE! More

We purchased a used 2023 GMC pickup from Apple Ford in Columbia, MD. We paid cash for the vehicle and have yet to get a title. The sale was finalized on or about May 1st. I have repeatedly called the d Columbia, MD. We paid cash for the vehicle and have yet to get a title. The sale was finalized on or about May 1st. I have repeatedly called the dealership from the sales associate Justin to the General Manager. The only person in the beginning that returned any phone calls was Lindsey Dawson. I have left multiple phone calls and it seems that once the sale was completed this dealership has no interest in following through! It is always amazing that when a company professes they want to have you as a customer for life and yet they treat you as a transaction!! More

After the worst Service Department experience in 47 years, I have written off any Ford product for future purchases, and I plan to sell our Transit Connect van very, very soon. Yesterday I was lied to years, I have written off any Ford product for future purchases, and I plan to sell our Transit Connect van very, very soon. Yesterday I was lied to on seven different occasions regarding Ford Co. policy, expected completion times, availability of a shuttle to take me home, and the process of fixing a particular problem. Arrogant, dismissive, dishonest, and negligent people from top to bottom. Service Manager is either a half wit or a terrible liar. Either they know what they're doing and are dishonest OR they DON'T know what they are doing and screw up by the numbers. Either way the customer loses. I am 65 years old and have dealt with Ford, Honda, Ram, Mazda, Tesla and Buick dealers and mechanics for nearly 47 years. This was the worst service experience since I have been a customer at car dealerships (dating back to 1973). The desk clerk, while polite, was filled with fake, inaccurate info. I guess they assume customers are idiots. Warning: Do not trust ANYONE at Apple Ford in Columbia. They show no respect or regret. They can't seem to do anything right or communicate even among themselves. Mechanics tell you one thing...Service Manager another...desk clerk just makes it up as we go. DONE! No more Fords. Mr. Ford in Detroit would not be happy with this dealership because it gives his whole company a bad name: LIARS. FRAUDS. NITWITS. No more Fords for me and my family. And only too glad to tell my neighbors and friends. Be aware: This dealership will screw you. They are fools, liars and arrogant incompetents. AVOID like the plague. Buy a Honda or Toyota or Tesla...avoid Ford. More

Rating for service on 2016 Lincoln MKX Apple Lincoln Ford, Columia Md (Specifically their Tri State Collision Center) does not do good work. Claimed they had repaired my cars front bumper Apple Lincoln Ford, Columia Md (Specifically their Tri State Collision Center) does not do good work. Claimed they had repaired my cars front bumper cover but they left damage behind bumper not fixed. Kept my car 5 weeks in. 2016 and 2017 and damage still not fixed (headlights, cross core member, cracked rt bottom headlight bracket). Many screws and nuts were left off in wheelwells and bottom front plastic panels, inside of hood for rubber seal. Both Bottom left & right door panels have cracked brackets. It took 5 or 6 times get bumper paint color to match body paint color. Overall back experience. Do not take your car to Tri-State Collision in Columbia , Md More

We discussed a 2017 fully optioned Black Ford Explorer Sport with twin turbo V6. The vehicle was ready when I arrived. After a roadtest, a deal was struck. My Explorer was detailed, paint sealed and paperwork signed. I was on my way home in short order. I got a great trade allowance on my 2016 Mustang GT, plus incentives and discounts. This is my second vehicle purchase from Apple Ford and I have always gotten top notch service. More

Dishonest and complete waste of time - Found what looked like a great deal at Apple Ford through Cars.com. Inquired and received a phone call back and proceeded to ask questions about reba Found what looked like a great deal at Apple Ford through Cars.com. Inquired and received a phone call back and proceeded to ask questions about rebates, taxes, pricing, especially being out of state. Was told by multiple salesmen that we would qualify for all rebates, the taxes would be handled properly and that the entire process would be 'completely transparent'. Received a out the door price (not counting trade) from them and it was higher than expected, based on their price, fees and taxes. When I asked for a breakdown, I was told no. Should have dropped the deal on the spot. So much for transparency. Asked the salesman about the pricing difference and also about whether taxes were figured on KY's system or on MSRP. Was told MSRP, which would explain nearly $600 of the difference. Since we couldn't get a breakdown, we foolishly believed the salesman's stories of how taxes were collected and that they wouldn't lose a sale over a $1,500 trade difference (difference between Apple and two other dealers). We drove the 9 hour trip from KY to Apple. We were contacted 4 times while traveling to check our status (important information for later). Once arriving, we test drove the Explorer and decided to proceed forward. They took our car and did a trade estimate and gave us the price. It was the same price as was quoted previously and the trade was not higher (matching the other dealers) as the salesman had promised. The deal, now with a breakdown, showed a higher car price than was given, taxes at the correct KY rate (so was not on MSRP that the salesman had stated - meaning there would be no lower taxes) and the trade hadn't been adjusted. When asking about the details, was told the car price was higher because we didn't qualify for all of the rebates - which TWO salesman had told us that EVERYONE qualifies for the rebates. Was told that only MD residents qualify for ALL rebates. KY people have different rebates. Asked about the MSRP text indicating that taxes was on MSRP and was told that the taxes were correct in original given price so no reduction. Was told that the trade would be no higher. I asked about the multiple times the salesman had said that they would match the trade or adjust the car to work it out, was told 'sorry'. We were asked if we could meet in the middle. We thought about it and since the deal would have been better than our local dealers if we meet in the middle, we said OK. The sales manager was heard a few moments later shouting to the salesman 'NOPE'. We said no deal then and was basically pushed out of the side door. Wouldn't even give us a chance to talk tot he sales manager. Was given our keys and basically, sent packing. Later in the night, after cooling down, we decided to go 'middle of the middle' and offered to meet them at the 75% mark of the difference of where we should have been and where we were. Didn't receive a response back. Sent a few more messages and no response (notice no response now but called or texted 4 times while we were traveling). The next morning, sent a "?" text and received a text that we would receive an answer in a few minutes. We waited 30 minutes, checked out of the hotel and drove home. Received a text the next morning, after we were home, stating that they didn't accept that deal. Received a call from the sales manager within a day. Wanted to know why we were complaining when we knew the deal. He was a complete jerk (as has been pointed out in other reviews). He was demeaning and had no intent other than to try to make me look like a fool and that Apple had done everything right. Had no interest in what his salesman had 'texted' (in writing) about the taxes nor his 'phone promises' of trade amounts. Again, just a complete jerk! All in all, I wasted my only two days off (after working seven straight), $300 in travel money, and a wasted trip to be insinuated that I'm stupid. If anyone reading this is thinking of driving any distance for the 'great deal' that the salesman is promising, words of advise - "Don't waste your time!' Lessons learned from this resulted in the best deal of our life at a dealer less than 2 hours away. One that not only gave a full breakdown without asking, honored every single thing that was told, even when told that some things (like trade) were an estimate. They put a $3388 warranty on my car without ever asking me that I found out later from the bank that my loan was for over 20k when it should of been 17k like I was told by the dealer. They put the warranty in very small print and do not tell you they added it and do not tell you what it includes. They also would rather not sell you the car if you do catch the warranty they sneak in. Better of going to a different dealer then these xxxx bags More

He had Jeff I spoke Chip Doetsch about a Mustang GT Premium, and the options I was looking for. I made an appointment and met with him on March 11th. He had Jeff Erlich assist me. Jeff showed me several Mustangs that met my requirements. I saw a indigo silver GT Premium. After a road test, he put together a deal. Chip came over, to see how things were going several times. I got a great deal, and signed the papers. The whole process was efficient and with no high pressure tactic. Jeff did an outstanding job and was very knowledgable. I picked my vehicle up that Monday. It was clean and ready to go. The sync specialist was very proficient. I would highly recommend Apple Ford, Jeff Erlich and Chip Doetsch. More

APPLE FORD BEATS ALL OTHER FORD DEALERS IN SALES & SERVICE!! I have bought hundreds of cars/trucks for my business and personal use and Apple by far is THE BEST I have come across. Curtis Ford and Jackie Pressm I have bought hundreds of cars/trucks for my business and personal use and Apple by far is THE BEST I have come across. Curtis Ford and Jackie Pressman in service are AWESOME!!!! Sales with James Koser, Scott Rippy and owner Chip Doetsch was VERY accommodating. Wanda Reid was AMAZING in helping me with my after sales appointments. Aftermarket with Teresa Volz was great and NO PRESSURE sales, even thought I bought all the aftermarket stuff. I drive over 1 hour from my house to Apple Ford passing a half a dozen other Ford dealers that I have tried in the past. NOTHING is like Apple Ford and Owner Chip Doetsch!!! Keep up the GREAT work!!!!! More
